Built for AbuseA protected drive shaft and optimized guard help this attachment hold up better to drops, storage, and daily debris-moving work while keeping material more controlled.

Overview

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL QUIK-LOK Bristle Brush Attachment, Model 49-16-2741, is a dedicated debris-clearing attachment for Milwaukee's split-boom outdoor power head system. This is a bristle brush attachment designed for clearing light debris like mulch and dirt from hard surfaces. If you already run the Milwaukee QUIK-LOK platform and need a cleaner, faster way to move loose material off sidewalks, driveways, paver paths, and similar surfaces, this is the right attachment for that job.

What matters most here is how it works in real use. The 23 inch clearing width gives you more coverage with each pass, which means less overlap and less time spent walking the same area twice. The optimized bristle design is built for longer life, so you are not just buying reach and width, you are buying an attachment made to handle repeated sweeping and material movement without wearing out as quickly.

Milwaukee also set this up to work specifically with the output of the M18 FUEL Power Head with QUIK-LOK. The optimized gearing is there for a reason: it manages the cordless power head's RPM for this attachment, helping the brush do the work it was meant to do instead of just spinning for the sake of spinning. That is the difference between an attachment that merely fits and one that is actually tuned for the platform.

On the practical side, the guard design is aimed at better material containment. That matters when you are moving mulch, dry dirt, and other loose debris on finished surfaces where you want more control over where the material goes. A better-contained sweep is less mess around flower beds, garage entries, and walkways, and it can mean less cleanup after the cleanup.

Durability is another strong point. Milwaukee calls out a protected drive shaft to better resist damage from drops and storage conditions. For contractors, maintenance crews, and property teams that toss attachments in trailers, trucks, and sheds, that is not a small detail. The attachment also includes an alignment label that shows when it is fully inserted into the power head, which helps speed up setup and reduces the guesswork when swapping between attachments.

System compatibility is straightforward. This attachment is part of the Milwaukee M18 FUEL QUIK-LOK Attachment System and is meant to be powered by a compatible M18 FUEL Power Head with QUIK-LOK. That makes it a good fit for users who want one battery platform and one power head to cover multiple outdoor maintenance tasks instead of managing separate gas tools or dedicated single-purpose machines.

Who should buy it? This attachment makes the most sense for landscapers, facility maintenance crews, property managers, and serious homeowners already invested in Milwaukee M18 outdoor equipment. It is especially useful when your work regularly involves sweeping loose debris off hard surfaces rather than cutting grass or edging. If your main need is fast, controlled debris movement and you already have the power head, the Milwaukee M18 FUEL QUIK-LOK Bristle Brush Attachment is a smart add-on instead of another whole tool.
