Key Features

Full Sheet Rip CapacityThe 24-1/2 inch rip capacity lets this cordless table saw handle 4 x 8 plywood and OSB breakdown without forcing you to drag out a corded saw for sheet goods. Corded-Level Cutting PowerMilwaukee built the POWERSTATE brushless motor to deliver the kind of performance pros expect from a 15 amp jobsite saw, with 6,300 RPM for fast, clean cuts. ONE-KEY TrackingTool tracking, inventory visibility, and remote lockout give crews and shop owners a practical way to manage expensive jobsite equipment instead of just hoping it stays put.

Overview

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 8-1/4 in. Table Saw with ONE-KEY, Model 2736-20, is a cordless jobsite table saw built for professional carpenters, remodelers, and general contractors who need real cutting capacity without being tied to an outlet. This is a cordless table saw designed for jobsite ripping, crosscutting, and sheet goods breakdown. The big reason it matters is simple: you get the portability of the M18 platform with the kind of cutting performance and accuracy most users expect from a corded jobsite saw.

On the cutting side, the numbers are what make this saw worth a serious look. The 8-1/4 inch blade spins at 6,300 RPM, with a cut depth of 2-1/2 inches at 90 degrees and 1-3/4 inches at 45 degrees. That gives it the range to handle common framing and trim stock cleanly while still staying compact enough for real jobsite transport. The 24-1/2 inch rip capacity is the headline feature for a lot of buyers because it lets you rip 4 x 8 sheets of plywood or OSB, which is where a smaller cordless saw usually starts to feel limited.

Milwaukee paired that cutting capacity with a rack and pinion fence system, and that matters more than it sounds on paper. A fence that adjusts smoothly and stays square saves time every single day because you spend less time measuring twice, bumping the fence, and checking it again before every cut. If you are doing cabinet parts, shelving, subfloor cuts, or repetitive trim work, fence accuracy is what keeps a portable saw useful instead of frustrating.

The saw is built around an all-metal frame for jobsite durability, and Milwaukee clearly had daily transport in mind. At 41.6 lbs, it is not featherweight, but it is light enough for one person to load in and out of a truck while still feeling substantial on a stand. On-board storage for the guard, riving knife, push stick, fence, and miter gauge is another practical detail that makes a difference over time. Loose accessories get lost fast on a busy site. When they all store on the tool, setup and teardown are faster and you are less likely to leave a safety component behind.

Milwaukee also made this saw easier to live with in everyday use. Tool-free guard and riving knife changes mean you can switch setups without hunting for extra tools, and the single-wrench blade change keeps blade swaps straightforward. There is also a 2.5 inch dust port, which helps with cleaner indoor work and makes the saw more manageable when you are cutting in finished spaces, occupied homes, or small workshops where dust gets out of hand quickly.

From a system standpoint, this saw runs on the Milwaukee M18 battery platform and is compatible with all M18 batteries. Milwaukee specifically calls out the REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 battery for maximum runtime, with up to 600 linear feet of cutting per charge in the right application. REDLINK PLUS intelligence adds overload, overheating, and over-discharge protection, which is important on a high-draw tool like a table saw. This is also a ONE-KEY compatible table saw, so you can track the tool, manage inventory, and use remote lockout features through the app. For contractors managing multiple crews and trailers, that is not a gimmick. It is a real theft-deterrent and accountability feature.

Who should buy it? If you are a pro who needs a portable table saw for framing, remodeling, punch work, flooring, built-ins, or general trim carpentry, this Milwaukee makes a lot of sense, especially if you are already on M18. It is also a strong fit for serious DIY users who want jobsite-capable performance but do not have the space or need for a full-size stationary saw. If you already own M18 batteries, the bare tool setup keeps the buy-in lower. If you do not, plan on adding a battery and charger because this saw is designed to do serious work and deserves a battery that can keep up.

Built for Real Jobsite Rip Cuts

This saw is set up for the kind of cutting that actually happens on site, not just quick demo cuts in a parking lot. The wide rip range gives you room to work with sheet goods and long stock without jumping to a larger corded saw.

• 24-1/2 inch rip capacity handles plywood and OSB breakdown
• Rack and pinion fence system helps keep adjustments square and repeatable
• Max bevel of 47 degrees gives you extra flexibility for angled work

Portable Without Feeling Light-Duty

A good portable table saw has to do two things well: survive transport and still cut accurately when it lands. Milwaukee leans into both with a compact jobsite footprint and an all-metal frame that is built for regular loading, unloading, and rough site conditions.

• 41.6 lb tool weight is manageable for one-person transport
• All-metal frame is built for daily jobsite use
• On-board storage keeps key accessories with the saw during transport

Smarter Tool Management for Busy Crews

ONE-KEY is one of the main reasons this saw stands apart from other cordless table saw options. If you run multiple crews or keep tools on several jobs, built-in tracking and lockout features can save real money and headaches.

• ONE-KEY compatible for inventory management and location tracking
• Remote lockout adds theft protection if the tool goes missing
• Tracking functionality is built into the tool, not dependent on the battery being installed
