Key Features

Locks Down Straight The T-Glide design is built for smooth travel, precise measurement, and a sure lock without fence deflection. That matters when you need repeatable rip cuts instead of fighting alignment every time you move the fence. Made for SawStop Saws This SawStop rip fence is designed for Professional Cabinet Saw and Contractor Saw models that use the 36 inch or 52 inch T-Glide fence system. If your saw matches that setup, this is the correct replacement fence assembly. Fence Only This assembly is the fence only. Rails and the extension table are not included, which is important if you are replacing a damaged fence instead of building out a complete table saw fence system.

Overview

The SawStop TGP2-FA Professional T-Glide Rip Fence is a replacement fence assembly for select SawStop table saw setups. This is a rip fence designed for accurate table saw ripping and repeatable fence positioning. Model Number: TGP2-FA. It is built for users who already have a compatible SawStop Professional Cabinet Saw or Contractor Saw running a 36 inch or 52 inch T-Glide fence system and need the fence itself, not a full rail kit.

What matters here is how the fence works in real use. SawStop calls out smooth operation, precision measurement, and sure lockdown without deflection. In plain terms, that means the fence is made to slide where you need it, line up accurately, and stay put once locked. On a table saw, that is the whole game. If the fence flexes or shifts, your cut quality goes with it. A solid fence saves setup time and helps you trust your measurement from one rip to the next.

This is not a universal table saw fence, and that is actually a good thing if you are buying it for the right saw. The SawStop TGP2-FA Professional T-Glide Rip Fence is intended specifically for SawStop PCS and CNS model saws using the T-Glide 36 inch or 52 inch fence system. That product fit matters because fence geometry and locking systems are not interchangeable across every table saw platform. If your original fence is worn, bent, or missing, this assembly gives you a direct-path replacement instead of a compromise.

The design focus is precision and stability, not extra fluff. A good rip fence needs to travel smoothly along the rails, stay parallel to the blade, and lock down hard enough that sheet goods and hardwood stock do not push it out of position. That is where a T-style fence design earns its keep. For cabinet work, trim stock, and general table saw cutting, the benefit is simple: less fiddling, fewer measurement checks, and more confidence when you are feeding material through the saw.

Jobsite practicality also comes down to knowing exactly what you are buying. This listing is for the fence assembly only. No rails. No extension table. That makes it a smart buy for someone replacing a damaged or missing fence on an existing compatible setup, but not the right choice for someone trying to convert a saw that does not already support this system.

Who should buy this? Woodworkers, cabinet installers, remodelers, and serious DIY users already running a compatible SawStop saw. If you depend on straight, repeatable rip cuts and want the fence to lock with confidence, this replacement makes sense. If you have a 30 inch fence system or a different SawStop model outside the listed fitment, skip it and match the correct system instead.

Precision Where It Counts

A table saw fence either helps the saw cut straight or gets in the way. This one is built around smooth travel and a firm lock so you can set your width, lock it down, and get on with the cut.
