Overview

The DEWALT D36000S 10-In. High Capacity Wet Tile Saw With Stand is a corded tile saw built for pros and serious remodelers who need capacity, accuracy, and portability in one setup. This is a wet tile saw designed for cutting porcelain tile, large-format tile, planks, and sill pieces. Model Number: D36000S. If your work involves long rip cuts, repeatable crosscuts, and moving from room to room or job to job, this saw is built around those realities.

The headline numbers are what make this saw worth a hard look. You get a 37 in. rip cut capacity, an 8-1/2 in. crosscut capacity, and 18 in. of cutting clearance left of the blade. In plain terms, that means it can rip a 36 in. x 36 in. tile in half and handle plank and sill cuts that can be awkward on smaller tile saws. DEWALT also calls out accuracy to within 1/32 in. over 30 in. cuts, helped by the cutline indicator, rigid frame, and stainless-steel rollers. For tile work, that kind of control is the difference between clean layout work and wasting material.

The 15 amp motor delivers 1220 MWO for demanding cuts, so this saw is set up for heavier tile work instead of just light trim pieces. That matters when you are pushing through dense porcelain and want the saw to stay consistent instead of bogging down. The 10 in. blade size also gives this saw the kind of reach people expect when they are working on bigger tile formats and need one saw that can cover more of the job.

DEWALT put real thought into the physical design. At 91 lbs., this is not a tiny benchtop unit, but it is still portable enough to move to and from the jobsite. The included D24001 stand gives you a dedicated setup right out of the box, and the 28-7/8 in. width from the column to the cart edge lets the saw fit through standard 30 in. door frames. That sounds like a small detail until you are moving equipment through finished spaces, hallways, and tight remodel conditions.

Water control is another practical advantage here. The tray system fully contains 18 in. x 36 in. and 24 in. x 24 in. tile to help keep the work area cleaner and drier while cutting. On indoor jobs, that is a big deal. Less mess around the saw means easier cleanup, less tracking, and a more manageable setup when you are working in occupied homes or finished spaces. Integrated storage for the cart extension, miter guide, and wrenches also helps keep the accessories with the saw during transport instead of rolling around loose in the truck.

Who is this saw for? Tile setters, remodelers, flooring installers, and general contractors doing regular tile work are the clear fit. If you mostly cut small wall tile once in a while, this is more saw than you need. But if you work with porcelain, plank tile, large-format material, or want one portable wet tile saw that can cover most day-to-day installation work without stepping up to a much larger station, the DEWALT D36000S is aimed right at that middle ground.

Handle Large-Format Tile With Less Compromise

This saw is built around the way tile jobs actually go now: bigger material, longer layouts, and fewer chances to hide a bad cut. The extra table support and long rip capacity make oversized tile much more manageable.

• 37 in. rip cut capacity for long, straight cuts
• 18 in. cutting clearance left of the blade lets you rip 36 in. x 36 in. tile in half
• 8-1/2 in. crosscut capacity is ideal for 6 in. sill cutting and 8 in. x 48 in. planks at a 30% offset

Built To Track Straight On Long Cuts

Accuracy is where cheaper tile saws start costing you money. DEWALT backs this saw with a rigid frame, stainless-steel rollers, and a cutline indicator so long cuts stay where you want them.

• Cut accuracy rated to within 1/32 in. over 30 in. cuts
• Rigid frame helps reduce deflection during longer passes
• Stainless-steel rollers support smoother cart travel

Portable Enough For Real Jobsite Use

This is the kind of saw that gives you serious capacity without turning every move into a production. It ships with a stand and is sized with transport in mind.

• 91 lbs. for portability to and from the jobsite
• Includes a durable D24001 jobsite stand
• 28-7/8 in. width from column to cart edge fits through standard 30 in. door frames

Pro Tip

When you are cutting long plank tile or large porcelain, keep the cart extension installed and use the cutline indicator instead of steering the tile mid-cut. Let the stainless-steel roller cart do the tracking work and you will get straighter results with less edge wander.
