Three M18 Packs This Milwaukee M18 battery bundle pairs two XC5.0 packs for everyday tools with one HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 pack for the tools that pull the most power. Power for Heavy Tools The HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 delivers 50% more power and runs 50% cooler than a standard M18 XC pack, so grinders, saws, and impact wrenches hold speed under load. Fuel Gauge on Every Pack All three packs show remaining charge at a glance, so you swap before the tool stalls mid-cut instead of after.

Overview

The Milwaukee M18 Redlithium XC 5.0Ah Battery 2-Pack + M18 HO XC 6.0Ah Battery is a three-battery bundle for Milwaukee M18 cordless tools. This is an 18V lithium-ion battery set designed to cover both everyday drilling and fastening and high-demand cutting and grinding. Model Number 48-11-1852 + 48-11-1865: the bundle combines the 48-11-1852 XC5.0 two-pack with one 48-11-1865 HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 pack.

The two XC5.0 packs are the everyday workhorses. Milwaukee rates the XC5.0 for 66% more run-time than its XC3.0 pack, and for up to 2.5X more run-time, 20% more power, and 2X more recharges than standard lithium-ion batteries. That is the right size for drills, impact drivers, oscillating tools, and lights, where you want a full day of work without carrying the bulk of a bigger pack.

The HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 is the pack you put on the tools that work hardest. Milwaukee rates it for 50% more power and 50% cooler operation than a standard M18 REDLITHIUM XC pack. Running cooler matters because heat is what makes a pack fade on a long cut or a big grinding job. On an angle grinder, band saw, or mid-torque impact wrench, the HO pack keeps the tool closer to full speed deeper into the charge.

All three packs share Milwaukee's REDLINK Intelligence, which lets the tool, battery, and charger communicate for optimized performance and overload protection. Each pack has a rubber overmold to protect against drops, a water protection barrier that routes water away from the electronics, and an onboard fuel gauge. Both pack types are rated to keep working in extreme cold below 0F (-18C).

Charging is straightforward. Milwaukee lists the XC5.0 at about 60 minutes on a Rapid or Super Charger and about 105 minutes on a standard charger. The HO XC6.0 recharges in about 35 minutes on a Super Charger and roughly an hour on a Rapid Charger. A multi-bay unit like the Milwaukee M18 & M12 Rapid Charge Station keeps all three packs cycling.

Every pack fits the entire M18 platform, so there is no compatibility guesswork. Use the XC5.0 packs on lighter tools and save the HO pack for the high-draw machines. If you are building out an M18 tool fleet, a mixed set like this matches the battery to the job instead of buying one size for everything.

Who should buy it? Electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, mechanics, and remodelers running a mix of light and heavy Milwaukee M18 tools. If your kit includes a grinder, recip saw, or impact wrench alongside a drill and driver, this bundle covers both sides with one purchase.

One Bundle, Two Battery Jobs

Two packs for the everyday tools and one for the heavy hitters. You get the right battery for each tool instead of compromising on one size.

• (2) M18 XC5.0 packs for drills, drivers, and lights
• (1) M18 HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 pack for saws, grinders, and impact wrenches

More Power Where It Counts

High-draw tools bog down when a pack can't deliver current fast enough. The HO XC6.0 is built to feed them, so breakaway torque and cutting speed stay where they should be.

• 50% more power than a standard M18 XC pack
• Best matched to impact wrenches, grinders, and saws

Cooler Packs Last Longer Under Load

Heat is what makes a battery fade before it's empty. The HO XC6.0 runs cooler under heavy load, so you get more consistent power through long cuts and grinding passes.

• Runs 50% cooler than a standard M18 XC pack
• Rated for operation below 0F (-18C)

Pro Tip

Keep the HO XC6.0 dedicated to your hungriest tool. Putting it on a drill wastes its advantage, while the XC5.0 packs handle light-draw tools just fine.

The Milwaukee M18 XC 5.0Ah 2-Pack + HO XC 6.0Ah Bundle Matches the Battery to the Tool

Most M18 users end up wanting both pack types. This bundle gets you there in one move.

• Who it's for: Trades running a drill and driver plus at least one high-draw tool like a grinder, recip saw, or impact wrench.
• Why it stands out: Two proven XC5.0 workhorses plus a HIGH OUTPUT pack that delivers 50% more power and runs 50% cooler.
• Worth knowing: Batteries only, no charger. Need more run-time on the heaviest tools? Larger Milwaukee M18 batteries with HIGH OUTPUT cells are the next step up.
