Overview

The FastCap SpeedTape 2-inch x 50-foot double-sided adhesive tape (Model Number: STAPE.2X50) is a peel-and-stick transfer tape for woodworking and cabinet work. This is a double-sided adhesive tape designed for applying edge banding and laminates and for holding jigs and templates.

SpeedTape uses a 5.5 mil acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is thin, so the bond line stays flat under veneer, edge banding and plastic laminate, and it bonds on contact with pressure, so there is no open time or clamping to wait on.

The 2-inch width is the widest roll in the SpeedTape line. Use it for wide banding, panel edges, laminate strips and for sticking templates to stock for routing or pattern work. Each roll is 50 feet long.

Cabinet shops, installers and woodworkers who want a fast, clean alternative to contact cement for edge and template work will get the most out of it.

The Wide Roll for Big Edges and Templates

The FastCap SpeedTape 2-inch x 50-foot roll is the one to grab when narrower SpeedTape would need two strips to cover the job.

• Who it's for: Cabinet shops and woodworkers applying wide banding or laminate, or sticking templates to stock.
• Why it stands out: Thin acrylic adhesive, instant bond and no glue cleanup.
• Worth knowing: Pressure makes the bond. Roll or press the material down firmly after placing it.
