Overview

The STS Auto Design M1218RC Milwaukee M12/M18 Rapid Charger Magnetic Holder, Black is a charger mounting accessory for Milwaukee users who want a cleaner, more secure place to keep their rapid charger. This is a magnetic charger holder designed for mounting a Milwaukee M12/M18 Rapid Charger on metal surfaces. Model M1218RC gives you a dedicated way to keep the charger where it is easy to reach instead of loose on a bench or shelf.

What matters here is not flash. It is function. This holder uses four 100 lb magnets to keep the setup planted on steel surfaces. That makes it useful in service trucks, shop cabinets, toolboxes, metal shelving, and other work areas where space is tight and chargers tend to get moved around. If you are tired of cords hanging off the edge of a cart or a charger getting buried under batteries and hand tools, this solves a real problem fast.

The design is purpose-built around the Milwaukee M12/M18 Rapid Charger, so this is not a generic magnetic plate you have to modify and hope for the best. The fit is intended for that charger platform, which is the whole point. A dedicated mount usually means less fiddling, a cleaner install, and better day-to-day usability for anyone already invested in Milwaukee M12 and M18 batteries.

At 0.5 lb, the holder stays easy to move when you want to reorganize a workspace, but it is still substantial enough to function like a real mounting solution. That balance matters in a garage, fabrication bay, or mobile setup where you may want the charger mounted on a cabinet today and on a service body tomorrow. It is a small accessory, but it can make your charging station feel a lot more intentional.

One important note: this product is the magnetic mount only. The charger, batteries, and tools are sold separately. That makes this a good fit for users who already own the Milwaukee rapid charger and want to improve how it is stored and used, not for someone shopping for a charger itself.

If you already run Milwaukee cordless tools and your charging area is on a steel surface, this is the kind of accessory that earns its keep. It is best suited for mechanics, shop users, mobile techs, contractors with enclosed trailers, and organized DIYers who want their battery charging setup off the work surface and locked into a fixed spot.

Keep Your Charger Off the Bench

This setup is about reclaiming workspace. Mounting the charger on steel keeps it visible, easy to access, and out of the pile of cords, batteries, and loose gear that usually ends up on a bench.

Built Around Magnetic Holding Power

The back side tells the story. This is not just a plate with weak stick-on magnets. It uses a four-magnet layout meant to keep the holder planted when mounted on steel, which is exactly what you want in a busy shop or truck.

• Four magnets rated at 100 lb each
• Black finish with purpose-built layout for charger mounting

If you are mounting this in a truck, trailer, or rolling cart, place it where the charger cord can drop straight down without getting pinched. That keeps the setup cleaner and helps prevent the charger from being tugged every time you grab a battery.
