ArmorGlide SurfaceThe cast iron top uses Powermatic's ArmorGlide coating to cut down friction, resist rust, and reduce upkeep. That matters when you're pushing large sheet goods or trying to keep a precision saw table working smoothly in a busy shop. 50 Inch RipWith 50 inches of right rip capacity, this cabinet table saw is built for breaking down wide panels and handling serious furniture or cabinet work without feeling cramped. Heavy Shop StabilityA one-piece cast iron box trunnion, wide stance, and Poly-V belt drive are there for one reason: smoother cuts with less vibration and better control when accuracy actually counts.

Overview

The Powermatic PM25150RKT Table Saw is a heavy-duty cabinet table saw built for serious woodworking shops, custom cabinet work, furniture building, and production-style ripping. This is a cabinet table saw designed for precision ripping, bevel cutting, and repeatable shop work. Model Number: PM25150RKT. If you need a stationary saw that stays accurate under load and gives you room to work with full-size material, this is the kind of machine you buy once and build a shop around.

The big selling point here is not just raw size. It is how the saw is set up to make daily work easier and more consistent. The ArmorGlide-coated cast iron work surface is low-friction and rust resistant, so stock moves easier across the table and the top needs less babying over time. The 50-inch right rip capacity makes a real difference when you're sizing plywood, building face frames, or working with wide solid stock. Powermatic also pairs that capacity with an Accu-Fence system and a miter gauge with positive stops, which matters when repeatability is more important than just getting through one cut.

On the cutting side, the saw uses a 10-inch blade with a 5/8-inch arbor, a 45-degree bevel capacity, and up to 4,500 RPM blade speed. The blade tilt scale includes a digital readout and adjustable angle indicators for repeat bevel cuts. That is the kind of feature that saves time in a real shop because you are not guessing, sneaking up on the angle, or stopping to re-check settings every few minutes. The arbor lock is accessible from above the tabletop, which makes blade changes quicker and less annoying than the usual two-wrench routine.

Powermatic built this machine like a true stationary shop saw. The one-piece cast iron box trunnion gives the saw its rigid feel, and the wide stance helps keep everything planted during heavy cuts. The Poly-V belt drive is there to transfer power more efficiently while keeping vibration and heat down. In plain terms, that means smoother operation, quieter running, and better cut quality. The precision-ground cast iron tabletop and matching beveled extension edges are not cosmetic details. They help the saw stay flat, support large workpieces, and keep material moving without catching on transitions.

For day-to-day shop use, a few practical details stand out. The quick-release riving knife helps reduce kickback risk and makes setup changes easier. Dust collection is built in through a dust port with access to the cabinet for cleaner cleanup. Powermatic also includes a proprietary safety switch with magnetic interlock, and the stop button can be knee activated. That is the kind of feature you appreciate when both hands are busy controlling a workpiece and you need to shut the saw down without letting go.

This version also includes a router lift setup, which can make sense for woodworkers trying to consolidate operations into one central workstation. Add in the integrated retractable hydraulic caster system and you get a machine that is clearly meant to live in a serious shop but can still be repositioned when layout changes or access matters. At more than 660 pounds assembled, this is not a jobsite saw and it is not pretending to be. It is a dedicated shop machine for people who value stability, accuracy, and long-term durability over portability.

If you are a cabinetmaker, furniture builder, school shop, professional woodworker, or advanced DIY user outfitting a long-term workshop, this saw makes sense. If your work revolves around sheet goods, repeat rip cuts, bevel accuracy, and a table that stays flat and slick through years of use, the Powermatic PM25150RKT Table Saw is aimed right at you. If you need something portable, cheaper, or light enough to move in and out of a truck, this is the wrong category. If you want a premium cabinet saw with real shop presence, this is exactly the category to be in.

Built for Smooth, Controlled Feed

A slick table surface is not a luxury on a cabinet saw. It directly affects how smoothly stock feeds and how much effort it takes to hold a straight line against the fence. Powermatic's ArmorGlide top is designed to lower friction while also resisting rust.

• ArmorGlide industrial-grade coating reduces drag across the cast iron top
• Rust-resistant surface cuts down on maintenance compared to traditional bare cast iron

Serious Capacity for Shop Work

This saw is laid out for real cabinet and furniture work, not occasional trim cuts. The large table, extension support, and 50-inch rip capacity give you the room needed for sheet goods, wide panels, and repeatable production cuts.

• 50 in right rip capacity supports full-size panel work
• Precision-ground cast iron tabletop with matching beveled extension edges helps material move cleanly
