The blade stops in about 3 seconds during regular use, which matters when you are moving quickly on a jobsite. That makes it a serious cordless cut-off saw for concrete, rebar, and ductile iron work.

Overview

The Milwaukee MXF315-0 MX FUEL 14 in Cut-Off Saw is a cordless cut-off saw built for concrete, rebar, ductile iron, and other tough jobsite cutting. This is a cut-off saw designed for heavy-duty masonry and metal cutting. Model Number: MXF315-0. If you want gas-level output without fuel, pull cords, emissions, or engine upkeep, this is the point of this tool.

What makes this saw matter is how it replaces the usual gas saw headaches with instant push-button start and a POWERSTATE brushless motor. Milwaukee calls out 14 inch gas performance, and the listed runtime backs that up with up to 14 linear feet in concrete and 120 cuts in number 5 rebar per charge. On the job, that means less downtime at startup, less messing around with fuel and maintenance, and a faster move from truck to first cut.

Safety is a big part of the package here. RAPIDSTOP blade brake and kickback control are not throwaway features on a tool like this. The blade stops in about 3 seconds during regular use, helping reduce spin-down time when you set the saw down or reposition between cuts. For a large 14 inch cut-off saw, that is a feature worth paying attention to.

Milwaukee also built in details that make this saw easier to live with on real sites. The onboard electric water valve helps manage water flow during concrete and masonry cutting, reducing mess compared to a constantly running water feed. The load light indicator is there to help you avoid bogging the saw and to get better runtime and blade life. There is also less noise and vibration than a gas engine setup, plus zero emissions, which can be a real advantage when you are working indoors or in partially enclosed spaces.

From a system standpoint, this saw runs on the MX FUEL battery platform and is fully compatible with the MX FUEL equipment system. It is also ONE-KEY compatible, so users already invested in Milwaukee's equipment tracking and management setup can tie this saw into that workflow. This bare tool version does not include batteries or a charger, which is the right buy for crews already running MX FUEL packs and chargers.

Physically, it is a substantial saw at 31.2 inches long and 29.6 pounds, which is exactly what you would expect from a serious cordless 14 inch concrete saw. The size and weight are there for a reason: this is not a light-duty handyman cutter. It is meant for demanding cutting where stability, blade capacity, and motor output matter more than compactness.

The Milwaukee MXF315-0 makes the most sense for masonry contractors, utility crews, concrete pros, hardscape installers, and general contractors who need a powerful cordless cut-off saw that can move from rebar to block to pipe without the maintenance burden of gas equipment. If your work regularly involves cutting concrete, reinforcing steel, ductile iron, or similar materials, this tool earns its keep. If you only make occasional shallow cuts, it is probably more saw than you need.

Cut Concrete Without Gas Hassles

This is where the tool makes sense fast. You get cordless mobility and instant start, but it is still built for the kind of concrete and masonry work that usually pushes crews toward gas.

• Rated for up to 14 linear feet in concrete per charge
• Onboard electric water valve helps with wet cutting and cleaner site control

Made for Rebar and Tough Materials

For metal cutting, the benefit is simple: big blade capacity, strong brushless power, and no engine maintenance between jobs. That matters when the saw is one more tool your crew has to keep moving.

• Milwaukee lists up to 120 cuts in number 5 rebar per charge
• POWERSTATE brushless motor is built for concrete, rebar, and ductile iron cutting

Track It and Keep It Working

This saw is more than a standalone cutter. It fits the MX FUEL system and adds ONE-KEY compatibility, which is useful for larger crews that want less downtime chasing equipment.

• Compatible with the MX FUEL equipment system
• ONE-KEY compatible for tracking, management, and equipment security
