Overview

The Milwaukee 48-59-2847 120W USB-C Charging Wall Adapter is a compact dual-port wall charger built for faster device charging and for supporting faster Milwaukee battery charging in the right setup. This is a USB-C wall adapter designed for charging devices and supporting faster M18 battery charging when paired with the compatible charger and cable. Model Number 48-59-2847. If you need more from one outlet than a standard phone brick can deliver, this is the kind of adapter that makes sense.

The big reason this adapter matters is output. Milwaukee gives you 120 watts of continuous power, split between one 100W USB-C Power Delivery port and one 20W USB-C port. In practical terms, that means the high-output port can handle power-hungry gear while the second port keeps another device topped off at the same time. Instead of tying up multiple outlets, you can run two USB-C charging jobs from one wall connection.

Where this really separates itself from a generic USB-C wall adapter is Milwaukee's charging ecosystem. When this adapter is used with the Milwaukee M18 TOP-OFF Charger & Power Supply 2847-20 and a 100W USB-C cable, Milwaukee states it can deliver up to 30% faster M18 battery charging. For contractors, service techs, and anyone rotating batteries through a workday, that can mean less waiting and more usable packs back in service.

The design is straightforward, but it is built with shop and jobsite reality in mind. Milwaukee calls out the protective rubber boot, and that matters more than it sounds like it should. Wall adapters get tossed in gang boxes, carts, drawers, and truck bins. A more protected outer shell helps this charger hold up better than the slick plastic adapters made for desk use.

Its compact size also helps. At 3.1 inches long, 1.58 inches wide, and 3.18 inches high, it is small enough to pack without wasting space, but it still delivers serious output. The listed weight is 1.01 lb from Milwaukee's product specifications, which reflects a sturdier adapter than the lightweight consumer chargers most people are used to. That extra substance is usually a fair trade when the goal is dependable high-output charging.

Compatibility is specific, which is worth being clear about. This adapter does not belong to a battery platform by itself, and Milwaukee lists the battery system as not applicable. Its battery-related value comes from pairing it with the M18 TOP-OFF Charger & Power Supply and a 100W USB-C cable. On the device side, the dual USB-C setup makes it useful for modern USB-C charging needs where one higher-output port and one secondary port are the right combination.

This Milwaukee USB-C wall adapter makes the most sense for pros already using the M18 TOP-OFF setup, for tradespeople who charge phones and other USB-C devices on the go, and for shop users who want one outlet doing more work. If all you need is a basic low-output phone charger, this is more adapter than you need. If you want high-output USB-C charging with a clear fit inside the Milwaukee system, this one is built for that job.

Get More From One Outlet

One wall outlet can do a lot more when the adapter has real output behind it. This setup is built for users who need to charge more than just a phone and do not want to waste time swapping cables around.

• 120W continuous power for higher-demand USB-C charging
• Two USB-C ports let you charge multiple devices at the same time

High Output Where It Counts

The port layout tells you exactly what this adapter is built to do. The 100W USB-C PD port handles the heavy lifting, while the 20W USB-C port gives you a second connection for lighter-duty charging.
