Rip Full SheetsThe 24-1/2 inch rip capacity lets this table saw handle 4 x 8 plywood and OSB without feeling undersized on the job. That matters if you want cordless portability without giving up real sheet-goods capacity. Corded-Class PowerMilwaukee pairs a POWERSTATE brushless motor with the M18 HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 battery to deliver 6,300 RPM and the claimed power of a 15 amp corded saw. You get fast cuts and better speed under load without dragging a cord around the site. Trackable On SiteONE-KEY support adds tool tracking, inventory visibility, and tool security features through your phone. For crews managing multiple jobs, that is more than a convenience. It helps keep expensive tools accounted for.

Overview

The Milwaukee 2736-21HD M18 FUEL 8-1/4-Inch Table Saw with One-Key 12.0Ah HD Kit is a cordless jobsite table saw built for carpenters, remodelers, and general contractors who need real cutting capacity without being tied to an outlet. This is a table saw designed for ripping sheet goods, trim stock, framing material, and general jobsite cutting. Model Number: 2736-21HD. The big story here is simple: you get a compact M18 platform saw with the claimed power of a 15 amp corded saw, plus the battery, charger, and core accessories needed to get to work.

On the numbers that actually matter, Milwaukee rates this saw at 6,300 RPM, 24-1/2 inches of rip capacity, and up to 600 linear feet of cutting per charge. That combination is what makes it a serious cordless table saw instead of a light-duty convenience tool. The rip capacity is wide enough to break down 4 x 8 plywood or OSB, which is the point where a portable saw starts being useful for real production work. If you are trimming panels, sizing shelving, ripping flooring, or handling punch-list framing cuts, that capacity saves time and extra setup.

The rack and pinion fence system is one of the features that matters more in use than it does on a spec sheet. A fence that adjusts easily and stays square is the difference between a fast setup and wasting time checking every cut. Milwaukee also gives you tool-free guard and riving knife changes along with a single-wrench blade change, which keeps accessory changes from turning into a whole production. That is exactly what you want on a jobsite saw where the tool gets moved, packed, unpacked, and used by more than one person.

From a durability standpoint, this saw is clearly aimed at rougher daily use. The all-metal frame is there for a reason. Portable table saws get hauled in and out of trucks, slid around unfinished spaces, and bumped into other gear. Milwaukee also built in onboard storage for the guard, riving knife, push stick, fence, and miter gauge, which helps keep the parts you actually need from disappearing between jobs. That sounds small until you have lost one critical piece and the saw is effectively sidelined.

On the battery side, this kit includes a REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 battery and an M18 Rapid Charger, and the saw is compatible with all Milwaukee M18 batteries and tools. That matters if you are already on the M18 platform, because it lets this saw fit into an existing battery rotation. It also means the 2736-21HD is not a one-off tool that forces you into a separate power system. For contractors already running M18 drills, impacts, lights, or outdoor power equipment, this is an easy addition to the trailer or van.

ONE-KEY is another part of what separates this saw from a basic cordless table saw. The built-in wireless connection allows tracking, tool management, and security functions through the Milwaukee app. For an owner-operator, that can mean one more layer of protection on a high-value tool. For a larger crew, it helps keep tabs on where the saw was last seen and how it fits into the larger tool inventory. Milwaukee states the app can track ONE-KEY compatible devices within 100 feet of your phone and keep a record of the last known connection.

In day-to-day use, this saw makes the most sense for people who need portability first but still expect clean, repeatable ripping performance. It is a strong fit for finish carpenters working inside occupied spaces, remodelers moving room to room, punch crews, installers, and contractors who do not always have convenient power access. If most of your work is stationary shop production, a larger shop saw still makes more sense. But if you need a cordless table saw that can travel, cut sheet goods, and still feel like a serious jobsite tool, this Milwaukee table saw earns its place.

Tool Nut's Take

One of the most practical cordless table saw options for real jobsite work

The Milwaukee 2736-21HD M18 FUEL 8-1/4-Inch Table Saw with One-Key 12.0Ah HD Kit makes a lot of sense for pros who want sheet-goods capacity, cordless freedom, and M18 platform compatibility in one package.

• Who it's for: Carpenters, remodelers, and general contractors who need a portable table saw for ripping plywood, OSB, trim stock, and everyday site work.
• Why it stands out: The combination of 24-1/2 inch rip capacity, 6,300 RPM, included HD12.0 battery, and ONE-KEY tracking gives it more substance than a lot of cordless saws that are either too small or too stripped down.
• Worth knowing: This kit is ready to work out of the box, but the folding stand is sold separately. If you move from room to room all day, that stand is probably worth budgeting for.
