Key Features

10,000 PSI OutputWhen a fitting is dry, packed, or just stubborn, pressure matters. This grease gun delivers up to 10,000 PSI so you can push grease where manual guns and lighter cordless units start to struggle. Two-Speed ControlThe Milwaukee 2646-21CT M18 Cordless 2-Speed Grease Gun Kit lets you choose between maximum pressure and faster grease delivery. That means better control for delicate service work and quicker output when you have a long maintenance list. 48-Inch ReachThe 48 inch flex hose with spring guard helps you reach fittings tucked behind guards, under equipment, and in cramped service points. Less fighting the hose means faster lubrication and less fatigue.

Overview

The Milwaukee 2646-21CT M18 Cordless 2-Speed Grease Gun Kit is a cordless grease gun built for service technicians, fleet maintenance crews, heavy equipment mechanics, and anyone who has to lubricate hard-to-reach fittings without wasting time or over-greasing. This is a cordless grease gun designed for equipment maintenance and lubrication service. Model Number: 2646-21CT. The big reason this tool matters is simple: it combines the reach and control you need for real maintenance work with battery power that cuts down on pumping effort and speeds up repetitive grease jobs.

The headline spec here is the tool's 10,000 PSI maximum operating pressure. That matters because fittings in the field are not always clean, fresh, and easy. On older machines, farm equipment, trailers, and construction gear, grease points can be tight and resistant. The Milwaukee M18 grease gun is built to handle that kind of work while still offering a maximum flow rate up to 10 oz. per minute when speed matters more than brute force. The two-speed design gives you a practical choice: push hard when a fitting needs pressure, or move faster when you have a lot of zerks to hit in one session.

One of the smarter features on this model is the pre-set grease counter dial. That is not filler. It helps you dispense a more consistent amount of grease, which is especially useful when you are servicing multiple components and do not want to guess on volume every time. For shops and field crews, that means cleaner work, less wasted grease, and less chance of over-packing bearings or seals. Milwaukee also adds a plunger rod with markings so you can see how much grease is left in the barrel instead of finding out when the tool suddenly comes up empty.

From a jobsite usability standpoint, the details are solid. The 48 inch flexible hose gives this grease gun the reach to get into awkward service points where a rigid setup becomes a hassle. The spring guard helps protect that hose in everyday use. The air bleeder valve speeds up priming after loading grease, which saves time and cuts down on the usual frustration that comes with getting a grease gun ready to work. Milwaukee also includes a lock-on and lock-off trigger for convenience during longer grease cycles, and the built-in LED light helps when fittings are buried under equipment, behind guards, or in poorly lit shop conditions.

The overall design is clearly aimed at real maintenance work rather than occasional light duty use. The tool has a stand-up design so it can rest more securely when you set it down, and the included shoulder strap gives you another way to manage the weight during longer service tasks. If you have ever spent time crawling around under trucks or equipment with a manual gun and a flashlight, these are the small things that make a real difference by the end of the day.

On the power side, this kit runs on the Milwaukee M18 battery platform and includes one M18 Compact REDLITHIUM battery and a M18 and M12 multi-voltage charger. That is useful if you are already in the M18 system, but it also makes this kit a workable entry point for mechanics and maintenance techs who want a dedicated cordless lubrication tool without piecing together batteries and charging gear separately. Milwaukee also notes compatibility with the optional clear barrel accessory 49-16-2646 for users who want better visibility into grease supply.

This grease gun makes the most sense for users who service vehicles and equipment often enough to appreciate faster output, controlled dispensing, and cordless convenience. It is especially well suited for fleet maintenance, agricultural equipment service, heavy equipment upkeep, trailer service, and shop technicians who are tired of fighting manual grease guns in tight spaces. If you only grease a couple fittings once in a while, it may be more tool than you need. If lubrication is part of your routine maintenance work, this is the kind of tool that pays for itself in saved time and less aggravation.

Reach Fittings Without Fighting the Tool

This is where a cordless grease gun earns its keep. The long flex hose and compact working end help you get into awkward grease points on equipment without wrestling a manual lever gun the whole time.

• 48 inch flexible hose improves access to difficult-to-reach fittings
• Built-in LED light helps when servicing under equipment or in dim areas

Choose Pressure or Faster Output

Not every fitting needs the same approach. The two-speed setup gives you a practical way to match the tool to the job, whether you need to push through resistance or move quickly through a maintenance route.

• Up to 10,000 PSI for stubborn fittings and heavy service work
• Up to 10 oz. per minute max flow rate when speed is the priority

Built for Better Control on Routine Service

Milwaukee did not stop at raw pressure. Features like the pre-set grease counter, lock-on trigger, air bleeder valve, and marked plunger rod make the tool easier to live with when lubrication work is part of your weekly routine.

• Pre-set grease counter helps deliver more consistent grease output
• Air bleeder valve allows quicker priming after loading grease

After loading a fresh grease cartridge, use the air bleeder valve right away before you chase a no-flow problem. It speeds up priming and gets grease to the coupler faster, especially after the tool has been sitting.

Tool Nut's Take

Tool Nut's Take

Milwaukee 2646-21CT M18 Cordless 2-Speed Grease Gun Kit Is a Real Time-Saver for Maintenance Work

This is the kind of tool that makes perfect sense the second you have a full machine, truck, or trailer to service.

• Who it's for: Mechanics, equipment owners, and maintenance techs who grease fittings regularly and need better reach, more consistent output, and less hand fatigue.
• Why it stands out: The mix of 10,000 PSI pressure, two-speed control, a 48 inch hose, and the pre-set grease counter makes it more useful than a basic cordless grease gun.
• Worth knowing: This is a purpose-built maintenance tool, not a casual once-a-year buy. If lubrication is part of your routine, it earns its spot fast. If not, it may be more grease gun than you need.
