Overview

The Diablo Demon Drive Bit Set (model DSD-S16) is built for pros and serious DIYers. This is a set of premium screwdriving bits designed for high-torque fastening in wood, metal and general construction with impact drivers and drills.

Demon is Diablo's top drive bit line, and the difference is the tip. The real diamond coating increases friction in the screw recess for up to 50X more grip than a standard bit. On the job that means the bit stays engaged when you lean on an impact driver instead of riding up and chewing the screw head.

That same coating protects the tip from wear for up to 100X longer life in demanding screwdriving. A precision Grip Point Tip seats tightly in the fastener, while the Increased Torsion Zone in the shaft flexes to soak up impact torque so stress does not concentrate at the tip, which is where most bits crack.

Optimized heat treatment strengthens the core, a rust protection coating keeps it working in damp jobsite conditions, and laser-engraved size markings plus color-coded rings make the right bit easy to grab.

This kit covers the most common screw recesses on a jobsite in one grab: (1) Demon Phillips #1 Drive Bit, (3) 2 in. Demon Phillips #2 Drive Bit, (1) 2 in. Demon Phillips #3 Drive Bit, (1) 2 in. Demon Torx T10 Drive Bit, (1) 2 in. Demon Torx T15 Drive Bit, (2) 2 in. Demon Torx T20 Drive Bit, (3) 2 in. Demon Torx T25 Drive Bit, (2) 2 in. Demon Torx T30 Drive Bit, (1) 2 in. Demon Torx T40 Drive Bit, (1) 2 in. Demon Square #2 Drive Bit.

Buy it if you are framing, decking, installing cabinets, running electrical or doing mechanical work where screws go in all day. If you are burning through standard bits every week, Demon is where the cost per screw comes down.

Grip That Does Not Let Go

Cam-out wastes screws, time and finish surfaces. The diamond-coated tip locks into the recess so torque goes into the fastener instead of stripping it.

Pro Tip

Keep steady pressure straight in line with the screw and the diamond grit does the rest, even on an impact driver at full speed. On a screw with a damaged head, the extra grip is often enough to back it out.

The Diablo Demon Drive Bit Set: The Bit You Stop Replacing

Real diamond grit on the tip is the biggest upgrade in drive bits in years, and Demon puts it on a bit tough enough for impact drivers.

• Who it's for: Pros driving fasteners all day with an impact driver.
• Why it stands out: Diamond-coated tip for up to 50X grip and up to 100X life, plus a torsion zone built for impacts.
• Worth knowing: It costs more than a standard bit, but one Demon outlasts a pile of them.

Common Questions

• Can I use this in an impact driver? Yes. Impact Strong construction and the Increased Torsion Zone are built for impact drivers as well as drills.
• What is Tru Diamond Grit? A real diamond coating on the tip that increases friction in the screw head for up to 50X more grip and resists wear for up to 100X longer life than standard drive bits.
