Overview

The DeWALT DWAFE2PH2IR2S ELITE SERIES 2-1/2-in. Bits for Phillips #2 with Magnetic Sleeve is a 2-pack of impact-rated Phillips #2 screwdriving bits with a magnetic screw lock sleeve. This is an impact driver bit set designed for driving Phillips head screws in framing, decking, cabinet installs, and general fastening. Model Number: DWAFE2PH2IR2S.

Phillips #2 is the most common screw head on the jobsite, so this is the bit that wears out first. The ELITE SERIES bits use DeWALT's FlexTorq zone, a section of the shank that flexes to soak up the torque spikes an impact driver delivers. Spreading that shock out keeps the tip from chipping and cracking, which is why DeWALT rates them at up to 200x the life of its standard Phillips #2 bits, on average.

The magnetic sleeve is the other half of the package. DeWALT's 10x Magnetic Screw Lock System slides over the bit and grips the screw head, so screws stay put when you are working overhead, reaching into a cabinet, or starting a fastener one-handed. The sleeve fits any FlexTorq bit 2.25 in. or longer.

Both bits use a 1/4-in. hex shank marked IMPACT READY, so they work in impact drivers, drill/drivers, and quick-change chucks. With two bits in the pack, you have a spare ready when the first one finally wears.

This set is for contractors, remodelers, deck builders, and serious DIYers who drive a lot of Phillips screws with an impact driver and are tired of cammed-out tips.

Screws Stay Where You Put Them
