Key Features

Built for Framing Cuts This 20-tooth track saw blade is set up for fast ripping, cross-cutting, and plunge cutting in wood. It is a good fit when you want framing-speed cuts without giving up straight tracking and clean results. Thicker Kerf Stability The 0.07 inch kerf and laser-cut body add the rigidity a track saw needs for straight, accurate cuts. That matters when you are working on sheet goods, trim, panels, or long boards where wandering shows up fast. Cleaner, Longer Service TiCo high-density carbide, shock-resistant brazing, stabilizer vents, and Perma-SHIELD coating all work together to reduce heat, vibration, gumming, and premature wear. The payoff is longer blade life and more consistent cut quality.

Overview

The Diablo D0620TSR 6-1/2 in. 20-Tooth Framing Track Saw Blade is a carbide track saw blade built for wood cutting and framing work. This is a track saw blade designed for ripping, cross-cutting, and plunge cutting in framing lumber, sheet goods, panels, and other wood materials. Model Number: D0620TSR. If you run a 6-1/2 inch track saw and want a blade that cuts fast but still stays controlled on the rail, this is the kind of blade that makes sense.

Diablo built this blade around a 20-tooth layout and an Alternate Top Bevel tooth design, which is a practical setup for jobsite framing cuts. The lower tooth count helps it move through material quickly, while the tooth geometry helps keep tear-out down and tracking under control. That matters when you are cutting plywood, OSB, pressure-treated material, laminated beams, hardwoods, softwoods, and MDF and do not want a rough, wandering cut just because you chose a faster blade.

One of the more important details here is the thicker 0.07 inch kerf, listed as 1.8 mm. On a track saw, that extra rigidity is not fluff. It helps the blade stay straight in the cut, which is especially useful on long rips and plunge cuts where flex can show up as drift, wobble, or a cut line that needs cleanup after. Diablo specifically calls out that this kerf design works well on saws with or without riving knives, which broadens fitment and makes it easier to match to different track saw setups.

The cutting edge uses Diablo's TiCo high-density carbide, and that is the part that affects real-world life on the job. Better carbide holds an edge longer, handles repeated cuts in abrasive materials better, and keeps performance more consistent over time. Add in tri-metal shock-resistant brazing and the carbide tips are better able to handle impact and hard use. For a framing blade, that durability matters because these blades do not live a gentle life.

Diablo also worked the blade body to reduce the stuff that shortens blade life and hurts cut quality. The Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating helps fight heat, pitch buildup, gumming, and corrosion. Advanced stabilizer vents and a laser-cut arbor are there to reduce vibration and wobble, which helps the blade rotate more accurately and keeps the cut cleaner. In plain terms, the blade is built to stay calmer under load, and calmer blades cut straighter.

Compatibility is another strong point. The blade has a 20 mm arbor and also fits 5/8 inch arbor track saws with the included bushing. Diablo specifically lists compatibility with 6-1/2 inch track saws from Bosch, DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, and Ryobi. It is also designed for both corded and cordless track saws, and Diablo notes improved cutting efficiency compared to standard blades, which can translate into more cuts per charge on cordless platforms.

Who is this blade for? Carpenters, remodelers, cabinet installers, trim carpenters, flooring installers, and serious DIY users who rely on a track saw for accurate wood cutting. If your work leans more toward framing speed than ultra-fine finish cuts, this is the better match than a higher-tooth blade. It is especially useful when you want one blade that can handle rough framing tasks but still leave a cut clean enough for a lot of jobsite finish work.

Stable Tracking for Straight Cuts

The body design is what separates a decent track saw blade from one that actually stays on line under load. Diablo gave this blade a thicker kerf, stabilizer vents, and a laser-cut arbor so it holds a straighter path and cuts cleaner in real jobsite material.

Pro Tip

If your saw uses a 5/8 inch arbor, install the included bushing carefully and check that the blade seats flat before tightening it down. A track saw blade only cuts as straight as it spins, so this small step helps you get the stability this blade is built for.

Diablo D0620TSR 6-1/2 in. 20-Tooth Framing Track Saw Blade Gets the Job Done Fast

This is a smart buy for track saw users who want framing-speed cutting without giving up the straight, controlled feel that makes a track saw worth owning in the first place.

• Who it's for: Carpenters, remodelers, flooring installers, and serious DIY users cutting framing lumber, plywood, panels, and general wood stock with a 6-1/2 inch track saw.
• Why it stands out: The thicker kerf, stable blade body, and dual-arbor fit make it more versatile than a basic blade, and the carbide and coating package are there for real service life, not just shelf talk.
• Worth knowing: This is a 20-tooth framing blade, so the priority is speed and efficient cutting. If your work is mostly fine-finish veneer or melamine, you would usually step up to a higher tooth count instead.
