Key Features

Built for Fiber Cement This Diablo track saw blade is made specifically for James Hardie and other fiber cement products, so you get cleaner cuts in a material that usually chews through standard blades fast. 75X Longer Life The PCD triple chip tooth design lasts over 75 times longer than standard carbide blades, which means fewer blade swaps and less downtime when you are cutting abrasive siding and sheet goods. Rigid, Straight Cuts A thick laser-cut kerf and stabilizer features help the blade track straight in a track saw, which matters when you need clean edges with minimal tear-out on visible fiber cement work.

Overview

The Diablo D0604TSH 6-1/2 in. 4-Teeth Track Saw Blade for JamesHardie and Fiber Cement is a specialty track saw blade built for cutting fiber cement siding, panels, sheet goods, and trim. This is a track saw blade designed for fiber cement cutting. Model Number: D0604TSH. If you work with James Hardie products or any other abrasive fiber cement material, this blade matters because it is purpose-built for that job instead of asking a general-purpose blade to survive in a material that wears teeth down in a hurry.

What sets this blade apart is the PCD, or polycrystalline diamond, triple chip tooth design. Diablo rates it for over 75X longer cutting life than standard carbide blades. That is the kind of difference that saves real time on the job. Fiber cement is hard on blades, and frequent blade changes kill productivity. A longer-lasting blade means you keep moving, keep your cuts consistent, and spend less time fighting a dull edge.

The 4-tooth Triple Chip Grind setup is aimed at clean, smooth finishes with virtually no tear-out. On fiber cement, that matters just as much as speed. Cleaner cuts help with fit-up, reduce edge chipping, and leave a better finished result on exposed cuts. Diablo also calls out that this blade is suited for ripping, cross-cutting, and plunge cutting, which makes sense for track saw work where you may be breaking down large panels one minute and making a controlled plunge cut the next.

This blade uses a 6-1/2 inch diameter, a 20 mm arbor, and includes a bushing to fit 5/8 inch arbors. That gives it broader fit across common 6-1/2 inch track saw platforms. Diablo specifically lists compatibility with Bosch, DeWalt, Makita, and Milwaukee track saws using a 20 mm arbor, plus Ryobi 6-1/2 inch track saws using the included 5/8 inch bushing. If you already own one of those saws, fitment is straightforward.

For jobsite performance, the blade uses a 0.07 inch kerf, also listed as 1.8 mm, to provide the rigidity needed for accurate cuts in track saws. That thicker kerf design is especially relevant on saws with or without riving knives, where stability and straight tracking matter more than chasing the thinnest possible cut. Diablo also adds stabilizer vents and a laser-cut arbor to help reduce vibration and premature wear. In plain terms, the blade is built to run smoother and stay more controlled during long cutting sessions.

The Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating is another useful detail, not fluff. Fiber cement cutting creates heat and can leave buildup behind. A coating that helps resist heat, gumming, and corrosion keeps the blade easier to maintain and helps it stay consistent over time. Diablo also notes improved cutting efficiency in corded and cordless track saws, including more cuts per battery charge versus standard blades. For cordless users, that is a practical benefit, especially when you are making repeated cuts in a material that loads a saw heavily.

One of the biggest selling points here is that this blade is exclusively approved by James Hardie Building Products and described as the only approved PCD-tipped fiber cement blade to earn that recommendation. For contractors who install Hardie products regularly, that is not just a badge. It gives some confidence that the blade is engineered around the material it is supposed to cut, not adapted from a wood blade and repackaged for siding work.

This blade is best for siding crews, remodelers, carpenters, and serious DIY users who already own a 6-1/2 inch track saw and need a dedicated fiber cement cutting blade. If you only cut fiber cement once in a blue moon, a premium PCD blade may be more than you need. But if Hardie board is part of your regular workflow, the Diablo D0604TSH is built to pay for itself in blade life, cut quality, and fewer interruptions.
