Overview

The DEWALT DCE6820B 20V MAX Powered Water Tank is a cordless jobsite water supply built for dust suppression when cutting or drilling concrete and masonry. This is a powered water tank designed for non-potable water delivery to concrete cutting and drilling equipment. Model Number: DCE6820B. If you need a cleaner, more efficient way to feed water to a cut-off saw or core drill without stopping to manually pressurize a sprayer, this is the setup DEWALT built for that job.

The big selling point is simple: it gives you up to 4 gallons (15 liters) of steady water flow from a DEWALT 20V MAX battery platform. That means no hand pumping between cuts, no fighting pressure drop as the tank empties, and less wasted time when you're working through concrete or masonry. For crews doing dust suppression on active jobsites, that steady flow is the difference between a system that helps productivity and one that slows it down.

DEWALT also got the basic jobsite details right. The tank uses an electric pump, an easy control panel with flip-switch operation, and a 10 ft. kink-resistant braided hose to keep water delivery consistent while giving you room to move around the work area. The adjustable nozzle and quick-connect adapter expand its usefulness beyond one fixed setup, whether you're connecting to a core drill, a concrete cut-off saw, or another tool that needs water-fed dust suppression.

The tank body is built for actual site handling, not shop-shelf life. A large mouth opening makes filling and cleaning easier, and the larger cap is designed to help reduce spills while staying tethered to the tank so it does not disappear on the slab. The translucent tank lets you check water level quickly, and the mesh strainer helps keep debris out of the tank so you are not feeding grit into the system.

Portability is another reason this unit makes sense. At about 13.5 lbs empty, with two integrated handles, it is easier to pick up, reposition, and load than bulkier site water setups. DEWALT also made it compatible with TSTAK and TOUGHSYSTEM rolling toolboxes for moving gear across larger sites. That matters if you're already working out of the DEWALT storage system and want one less awkward item to drag around.

On the system side, this is a tool-only unit that runs on DEWALT 20V MAX batteries, so it fits shops and crews already invested in that battery platform. It also supports WIRELESS TOOL CONTROL, allowing the tank to be paired with a compatible tool or remote for distance activation, and it is Tool Tag Ready for users who want to add DEWALT asset tracking hardware separately.

For compliance-minded users, this powered water tank is called out as an OSHA Table 1 (1926.1153) compliant solution when paired with a DEWALT concrete cut-off saw or core drill. That does not make it a general-purpose water tank for every task under the sun. It is best suited to concrete and masonry trades that need controlled non-potable water delivery for dust suppression and cleaner cutting or drilling conditions.

Who should buy it? Concrete cutters, core drilling crews, remodelers working around masonry, and contractors already on the DEWALT 20V MAX platform are the obvious fit. If you only need occasional rinse-down water, this is probably more specialized than you need. If you routinely cut concrete, drill cores, and want a cordless dust suppression setup that is faster and less annoying than a hand-pump tank, this one earns its spot in the truck.

Keep Water Flow Steady on Concrete Work

This powered water tank is built to keep dust suppression simple and consistent when you're working concrete or masonry. Instead of stopping to rebuild pressure by hand, you switch it on and keep moving.

• 4 gallon (15 liter) tank supports longer work between refills
• Electric pump eliminates manual pressurizing
• Designed for non-potable water supply on the jobsite

Set It Up Fast, Fill It Fast, Clean It Fast

Good jobsite gear should not fight you during setup or cleanup. The wide opening, tethered cap, visible water level, and built-in strainer are the kind of practical details that save time every day.

• Large mouth opening makes filling and rinsing easier
• Translucent tank helps prevent overfilling
• Mesh strainer helps keep debris out of the system

Fits the DEWALT System You Already Run

If your crew already runs DEWALT cordless tools and storage, this unit makes a lot of sense. It uses the 20V MAX battery platform, supports wireless activation options, and can move with your existing rolling storage setup.

• Works with DEWALT 20V MAX batteries
• WIRELESS TOOL CONTROL support with compatible tool or remote sold separately
• Compatible with TSTAK and TOUGHSYSTEM rolling toolbox systems

Tool Nut's Take

Tool Nut's Take

DEWALT DCE6820B 20V MAX Powered Water Tank for Cleaner, Faster Concrete Work

This is the kind of specialty tool that makes a lot of sense the minute you get tired of hand-pumping a sprayer between cuts.

• Who it's for: Concrete cutters, core drill users, masonry crews, and contractors already running DEWALT 20V MAX batteries.
• Why it stands out: Battery-powered water delivery, a 4-gallon tank, a 10-foot braided hose, wireless control capability, and jobsite-friendly portability make it more useful than a basic manual tank.
• Worth knowing: This is a tool-only setup, so plan on adding a battery and charger if you are not already on the platform. It is also a purpose-built dust suppression water tank, not a general all-purpose pump.
