Dial In the OutputA 3-speed variable speed switch plus a variable speed trigger gives you better control around finished surfaces, workbenches, and tight areas where too much air just makes more of a mess. Overview

DEWALT DCE100B 20V MAX Compact Jobsite Blower is a cordless handheld blower built for quick cleanup on the jobsite, in the shop, or around installed work. This is a jobsite blower designed for clearing dust, chips, and loose debris from floors, tools, benches, and overhead areas. Model Number: DCE100B. If you already run DEWALT 20V MAX batteries, this bare tool gives you a fast way to keep work areas cleaner without carrying a larger outdoor blower.

The numbers are straightforward and useful: up to 100 CFM of air volume and 135 MPH air speed. That puts this blower in the sweet spot for jobsite cleanup tasks like knocking sawdust off a miter saw stand, blowing out joints before tuckpointing, clearing debris from a subfloor, or cleaning out tight corners in a cabinet install. It is not trying to replace a backpack blower for leaves across a yard. It is built for targeted cleanup where portability matters more than raw size.

Control is one of the better reasons to buy this model. DEWALT gave it a 3-speed variable speed switch along with a variable speed trigger, so you are not stuck with one full-blast setting. That matters when you are working around finished trim, hardware, small parts, or a bench covered with fasteners and shims. You can back the airflow down for controlled cleaning, then step it up when you need to move heavier chips or dust piles.

The trigger lock-on is another practical feature that sounds small until you use it. If you are clearing overhead dust, cleaning rafters, or blowing off a long run of equipment, keeping constant pressure on the trigger gets old fast. The lock-on helps reduce hand fatigue and makes extended use a lot more comfortable, especially for tradespeople who use a blower as part of daily cleanup instead of occasional use.

DEWALT also kept the design light and compact. The tool is listed at about 3.0 lbs, with some specs showing 2.5 lbs for tool weight, so either way it lands in lightweight territory for a cordless blower. The compact body is the real advantage here. It fits better in space-restricted areas, reaches into corners more easily than a larger leaf blower, and is far easier to keep close at hand in a van, trailer, or shop.

This blower is part of the DEWALT 20V MAX System, which is a big plus for users already invested in that battery platform. It is sold as a bare tool, so battery and charger are sold separately. For current DEWALT cordless users, that is usually a benefit because you are not paying again for batteries you already own. For first-time buyers, just know you will need a compatible 20V MAX battery and charger before you can put it to work.

In real use, the DEWALT DCE100B 20V MAX Compact Jobsite Blower makes the most sense for carpenters, remodelers, masons, installers, woodworkers, maintenance crews, and serious DIY users who want fast cleanup without cords. It is especially handy for bench cleanup, interior remodeling, punch-list work, and blowing debris off tools before loading out. If your main goal is quick, controlled cordless cleanup instead of yard-duty runtime, this is the kind of blower that earns its spot fast.

Cleanup Where a Full-Size Blower Gets in the Way

This compact cordless blower is built for the kind of cleanup you do constantly during a job, not just at the end of it. It is easy to grab, easy to aim, and useful in interior spaces where cords and oversized blowers are more hassle than help.

• Handheld jobsite blower format for quick cleanup in work areas, shops, and remodel sites
• Compact design is intended for space-restricted areas and overhead clearing
• Up to 100 CFM and 135 MPH for moving sawdust, chips, and loose debris efficiently

Control the Air Instead of Blasting Everything Around

What makes this blower more useful than a one-speed cleanup tool is the amount of control built into it. When you are working around finished surfaces, small hardware, or tight mechanical spaces, being able to meter airflow matters just as much as peak output.

• 3-speed variable speed switch helps match output to the job
• Variable speed trigger lets you feather blowing power during use
• Trigger lock-on helps reduce fatigue during longer cleanup passes

Pro Tip

Use the lower speed settings when clearing benches, cabinets, or installed trim so you move dust without launching screws, shims, and hardware across the room.
