Key Features

550 CFM Output When debris is packed in grass or spread across a driveway, airflow matters. This blower delivers up to 550 CFM and 133 MPH, giving you enough push for grass clippings, leaves, and general cleanup without dragging around a gas unit. Quieter Operation The lower 58 dB(A) noise rating helps cut down on disruption around homes, job sites, and larger properties. That makes early cleanup and longer use a lot easier on you and everyone nearby. Controlled Blower Power The variable speed trigger and trigger lock let you match output to the job instead of running flat out all the time. That gives the DeWALT DCBL724B 20V MAX XR Brushless Cordless Blower better control around mulch beds, hardscapes, and finished areas.

Overview

The DeWALT DCBL724B 20V MAX XR Brushless Cordless Blower is a cordless handheld blower built for fast cleanup around jobsites, sidewalks, driveways, patios, and larger residential properties. This is a cordless handheld blower designed for debris clearing and outdoor cleanup. Model Number DCBL724B. If you want solid airflow without the hassle, noise, and maintenance that come with gas, this is the kind of blower that makes sense.

On the performance side, DeWALT rates it at up to 550 CFM and 133 MPH. That combination matters because it gives you both volume and velocity. In real use, that means it can move loose clippings and leaves quickly across open areas, while still having enough focused force to break up stubborn debris along edges, joints, and corners. It is a good fit for cleanup work where a small blower feels underpowered but a backpack unit would be overkill.

The brushless motor is a big part of why this blower works well as a daily-use cordless tool. Brushless design helps with efficiency, runtime, and long-term durability, especially for users who are in and out of the trailer, truck, or garage using it repeatedly through the week. DeWALT also built in variable speed control and a trigger lock, which is more useful than it sounds. You can feather the output when working around mulch or decorative stone, then lock in steady power when you are pushing leaves off pavement or cleaning up after cutting and trimming.

Weight and handling are a real factor with any handheld blower, and this one is built to stay manageable. At about 6.6 lbs, it is light enough for extended use without feeling flimsy. The ergonomic layout keeps it easy to carry one-handed, and that matters when you are walking a long property line, moving from spot to spot on a jobsite, or doing quick cleanup at the end of the day instead of hauling out a bigger machine.

One of the more practical advantages here is the lower noise output. DeWALT calls this their quietest blower yet, with a published noise rating of 58 dB(A). For homeowners, maintenance crews, and contractors working in tighter neighborhoods, that makes a difference. You still get meaningful airflow for outdoor cleanup, but with less disturbance than a typical gas blower. That is especially useful for morning work, occupied properties, and routine cleanup where noise complaints are a real concern.

This blower is also set up to be more versatile than a one-nozzle tool. It includes a concentrator nozzle for more focused airflow on stubborn debris and a sweeper nozzle for broader coverage on sidewalks and larger open surfaces. That gives you a better match to the task instead of forcing one airflow pattern to do everything. For serious cleanup, that kind of flexibility saves time.

As a tool-only model, the DCBL724B is made for users already invested in the DEWALT 20V MAX battery platform. Batteries and charger are sold separately, so it drops right into an existing cordless setup without making you pay again for power you already own. If your trailer, shop, or garage already runs on DEWALT 20V MAX packs, this is an easy add-on for outdoor cleanup and jobsite housekeeping.

Who should buy it? This blower makes the most sense for landscapers, remodelers, general contractors, property maintenance crews, and homeowners who want pro-grade cordless cleanup power in a handheld format. If your work calls for frequent clearing of leaves, sawdust, grass clippings, or general debris and you want less noise with solid output, this one hits the sweet spot.

Clear Large Areas Without Dragging Out Gas

This blower is built for the kind of cleanup that starts small and turns into more work than expected. The combination of cordless convenience, brushless efficiency, and strong airflow makes it useful for larger yards, property maintenance, and end-of-day cleanup without dealing with fuel, pull starts, or extension cords.

• Up to 550 CFM for moving loose leaves, clippings, and light debris fast
• Handheld cordless format is easier to grab for quick cleanup than a backpack blower

Lower Noise, Better for Residential Work

Not every cleanup job needs maximum noise. The quieter operation is one of the strongest reasons to choose this model if you work around homes, occupied properties, or jobs where cleanup has to happen without making a scene.

• Published noise rating of 58 dB(A)
• Good fit for neighborhood use, maintenance crews, and routine cleanup around finished spaces

More Control Around Edges and Finished Surfaces

The variable speed trigger is not just a comfort feature. It lets you back off power around mulch, stone, and entryways, then turn it up when you need to move a heavier line of debris. That makes the blower more useful across different cleanup tasks instead of just brute-force blowing everything in sight.

• Variable speed trigger helps prevent scattering mulch and decorative material
• Trigger lock helps hold steady output for longer passes on pavement and grass
