Key Features

Charge Four at OnceThis DEWALT multiport charger charges up to four compatible batteries at the same time, with 4 amp output per port. That matters when you are cycling multiple packs through a workday and do not want one charger slowing down the whole setup. One Charger, Several PlatformsIt works with DEWALT 12V MAX, 20V MAX, and FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX batteries. If your truck or shop runs more than one DEWALT cordless platform, this keeps charging simpler. Wall-Mount ReadyBuilt-in keyhole slots let you mount the charger to free up bench space and keep batteries in one place. That is a real upgrade for crowded vans, gang boxes, and shop walls.

Overview

The DEWALT 4 AMP Multiport Charger is built for users who need to keep several cordless batteries ready instead of waiting on one pack at a time. This is a multiport battery charger designed for charging multiple DEWALT batteries at the same time. Model Number: DCB1404. If you are running a mix of DEWALT cordless tools across the day, this charger helps reduce downtime by giving each port a 4 amp charging rate and handling up to four batteries simultaneously.

On the practical side, the big selling point is simple: you can load up to four batteries and get back to work faster. DEWALT rates it to charge up to four 20V MAX 2Ah batteries in as little as 32 minutes, or up to four 20V MAX 4Ah batteries in as little as 67 minutes. For a crew, a service truck, or a shop with several battery-powered tools in rotation, that kind of charging speed means fewer dead packs sitting around and less time swapping one battery onto a single-port charger.

The platform coverage is another reason this charger makes sense. The DCB1404 works with DEWALT 12V MAX, 20V MAX, and FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX batteries. That gives it real value for contractors and serious DIY users who already have more than one DEWALT battery system in play. Instead of setting up separate chargers around the shop, this charger lets you centralize battery charging in one spot.

Jobsite usability is clearly part of the design. The housing is wall mountable and uses keyhole slots so you can hang it up and get it off the bench. DEWALT specifically calls out eight keyhole slots for easier wall mounting and removal, with mounting hardware sold separately. That may sound like a small feature, but if you have ever had chargers, cords, and loose batteries taking over a work surface, it is the kind of detail that keeps your setup cleaner and easier to manage.

This is a corded electric charger, so it is meant to stay planted in a shop, trailer, or jobsite power station where it can keep feeding batteries through the day. It ships as the charger only, with no batteries included. That is important because this product is best for users who already own compatible DEWALT batteries and need a better charging station, not for someone looking to buy into a battery platform from scratch.

The DEWALT 4 AMP Multiport Charger is a strong fit for remodelers, electricians, HVAC techs, punch-list crews, and anyone managing several DEWALT cordless tools. It also makes sense for homeowners or shop users with a growing stack of 12V MAX, 20V MAX, or FLEXVOLT packs who are tired of charging one battery at a time. If battery management is becoming the bottleneck, this charger solves a real problem without adding much complexity.

Keep More Batteries Ready

This charger is about workflow. Instead of rotating battery packs one by one, you can stage multiple packs on a single charging station and keep your cordless tool lineup moving.
