Built for Chalk Boxes Tajima PLC2-R900 Micro Chalk is made for chalk box refills, so it is a practical pick when you need dependable layout material for framing, carpentry, and general jobsite marking. Large Refill Size The 32 ounce bottle gives you a good amount of chalk on hand for regular layout work, which means fewer refill stops when the job is moving.

Overview

The Tajima PLC2-R900 Micro Chalk is a 32 ounce red chalk refill for chalk boxes and snap line tools. This is a chalk line chalk refill designed for bold, uniform layout marking. Model Number: PLC2-R900. If you need clean, visible snap lines for layout work, this is the kind of refill that matters because the chalk itself determines how readable and consistent your lines are.

What stands out here is the ultra fine chalk formula. Tajima states that it coats the line evenly and thoroughly, and that matters on the job because uneven chalk coverage leads to weak snaps, broken lines, and extra rework. A finer chalk helps the line carry material more consistently, so you get a clearer mark when laying out framing, cutting lines, or general construction reference points.

The bottle is set up with an easy-to-fill nozzle, which is one of those small details you appreciate after using chalk refills that spill all over the truck or bench. Refilling a chalk box should be quick and controlled, especially when you are topping off between tasks instead of stopping for cleanup. The 32 ounce size also makes sense for users who go through chalk regularly and do not want to keep replacing smaller containers.

This Tajima red chalk refill is best suited for users running chalk boxes for layout and marking applications in construction, carpentry, remodeling, and general contracting. It is a straightforward consumable, but it is one that directly affects line quality, visibility, and efficiency. If you already rely on a snap line for daily layout work, better chalk is not a throwaway upgrade. It is part of getting readable lines the first time.

Get More Consistent Layout Marks

Good snap lines start with chalk that transfers evenly. This refill is built to give you a more uniform line, which helps when accuracy matters and you do not want to re-snap the same layout twice.
