Key Features

26:1 Force The 26:1 thrust ratio gives this caulk gun the leverage needed for thicker sealants and adhesives, so you spend less effort on the trigger when the material gets stubborn. 2-Way Loading The Tajima CNV-FSP26-600 Convoy Super 26 Sausage Gun 2-Way works with both cartridge and sausage refills, which gives you more options depending on the material and the job. Tight-Space Control The rotating handle helps you keep the gun in a workable position when you are sealing corners, overhead joints, or awkward runs where a fixed handle gets in the way.

Overview

The Tajima CNV-FSP26-600 Convoy Super 26 Sausage Gun 2-Way is a heavy-duty manual caulk gun built for dispensing sealants and adhesives from either standard cartridges or sausage packs. This is a caulk gun designed for controlled sealant and adhesive application. Model Number: CNV-FSP26-600. If you regularly run thicker materials, long beads, or switch between refill formats, this setup gives you more flexibility than a basic single-format gun.

The big selling point here is the 26:1 thrust ratio. That matters because high-viscosity material can turn a cheap caulk gun into a hand workout fast. With more mechanical advantage, this gun puts more pressure on the material with less squeeze effort from you. On real work that means steadier flow, better control at the tip, and less fatigue when you are sealing long expansion joints, setting windows, bedding trim, or running adhesive on repetitive installs.

The 2-way design is what makes this model practical for pros. It is compatible with both 10.1 fl oz (300 ml) cartridges and 20.3 fl oz (600 ml) sausage packs. Cartridge compatibility is convenient when you need easy grab-and-go loading or commonly stocked materials. Sausage compatibility makes sense when you want less waste, smoother dispensing, and more material capacity in the tube. Having both options in one gun keeps you from being locked into a single consumable format.

Tajima also put effort into the parts that matter after a few messy jobs. The front cap is designed to help release every ounce of material from the tube, which is not just a nice detail. It cuts down on wasted product, especially with expensive sealants and adhesives. The cap removes without tools, so cleanup and changeover are easier when you need to switch materials or deal with cured residue before it becomes a problem.

The removable plunger adds to that maintenance advantage. If you have used bulk or sausage-style material before, you know cleanup can make or break whether a gun stays usable. A removable plunger and anti-residue surface make this model easier to keep clean, which helps the gun track smoother over time and keeps old material from contaminating the next load. The alumite-coated cylinder is built with that same jobsite practicality in mind.

The rotating handle is another feature that earns its keep. When you are sealing inside corners, reaching around framing, or working under counters and around fixtures, being able to rotate the gun into a better hand position makes bead control easier. That means less twisting your wrist and less fighting the tool when the angle is wrong. It is the kind of feature that sounds minor until you use it on an awkward run of sealant.

At 2.4 lb (1,100 g), this is not a lightweight homeowner caulk gun, and that is the point. It is built more like a trade tool for regular use. The stroke distance is listed at 3/16" (4 mm), and the overall setup is aimed at controlled material feed rather than bargain-bin simplicity. If you want a gun that can handle more demanding sealants, switch between refill styles, and clean up without a fight, this one is a serious step up.

This model makes the most sense for contractors, remodelers, glaziers, flooring installers, siding crews, painters, and serious DIY users who go through enough material to appreciate the difference between a throwaway gun and a well-built dispensing tool. If your work involves frequent caulking, sealant application, or adhesive work where consistency matters, this is the kind of gun you buy once instead of replacing every few jobs.

Handles Thick Material Without Fighting You

When you are working with thicker sealants or long bead runs, the wrong gun wears out your hand before the job is done. This one is built to keep pressure consistent and make control easier.

• 26:1 thrust ratio helps push dense materials with less trigger effort
• 360 rotating handle improves working angle around corners and tight spaces

Gets More Material Out of Every Load

The front end design is there for a reason. It is made to help empty the tube more completely, which matters when you are using premium sealants and do not want waste left behind.

• Tool-free removable front cap speeds cleanup and changeover
• Designed to release every ounce of material from the tube

One Gun for Cartridge or Sausage Refills

If your material choice changes from one job to the next, this format saves you from keeping separate guns on hand. It is built to handle both common refill styles in one platform.

• Fits 10.1 fl oz (300 ml) cartridges
• Fits 20.3 fl oz (600 ml) sausage packs

Tajima CNV-FSP26-600 Convoy Super 26 Sausage Gun 2-Way Is Built for Real Sealant Work

This is the kind of manual caulk gun you buy when basic hardware-store guns keep folding under thick material or messy cleanup.

• Who it's for: Contractors, remodelers, glaziers, and serious DIY users who run sealant or adhesive often enough to care about trigger effort, refill options, and cleanup.
• Why it stands out: The 26:1 thrust ratio, dual compatibility for cartridge and sausage packs, and easy-clean front end make it more useful than a one-format gun.
• Worth knowing: This is sold as the gun only, so refills are separate. It is also a heavier-duty tool, which is great for control and durability but overkill if you only caulk once a year.
