Key Features

Compact Under Load The built-in push rod keeps the tool's overall length from growing when a cartridge is installed. That matters when you're working in cabinets, corners, and other spots where a standard caulk gun gets awkward fast. Better Balance The centered handle position helps keep the Tajima CNV-100BC Convoy BC Caulk Applicator balanced in the hand. You get better control when laying a bead, especially during longer sealing work. Jobsite Ready Build High-strength engineering plastics, an elastomer non-slip grip, and a 360 rotating mounting hook make this caulk applicator easier to carry, hang, and use day to day.

Overview

The Tajima CNV-100BC Convoy BC Caulk Applicator is a built-in push rod caulk gun made for standard 10.1 fl oz (300 ml) cartridges. This is a caulk applicator designed for caulking in and around tight spaces. Model Number CNV-100BC. If you do a lot of sealing work where clearance is limited, this design solves one of the usual headaches with traditional caulk guns: the tool does not get longer after you load the tube.

That fixed-length layout is the big reason this model stands out. On a regular caulk gun, the rod sticks farther out the back as the cartridge is installed and used, which can make it harder to work inside vanities, around trim details, or near walls and framing. The built-in push rod mechanism on this Tajima keeps the body compact, so you can stay in tighter working positions without fighting the tool.

Tajima also put the handle in the center of the tool for better weight balance. That sounds simple, but it makes a real difference when you are trying to keep a steady bead on long seams or when you're reaching into an awkward spot with one hand. The balance helps the applicator feel more controlled instead of nose-heavy.

The blade-shaped sliding rod is built to extrude caulking agent smoothly, and the 10:1 thrust ratio gives you the leverage expected for standard cartridge work. For general sealant and caulk application, that means practical squeezing force without making the tool overly bulky.

Build quality is another strong point here. Tajima uses lightweight, high-strength engineering plastics in the main body and trigger to keep weight down while adding toughness where it counts. The elastomer non-slip grip helps when your hands are dusty or when you are working through a full punch list and do not want the handle shifting around in your palm.

For everyday jobsite use, the 360 rotating mounting hook is more useful than it might look on paper. You can hang the gun when moving between tasks or when climbing, staging materials, or working off ladders and scaffolding. That keeps the tool close by without having to set it down on a dirty surface or hunt for it later.

This caulk gun is a good fit for remodelers, maintenance crews, finish carpenters, glaziers, and general contractors who regularly seal joints in confined areas. It also makes sense for serious DIY users who want a better-designed applicator instead of the usual basic hardware-store gun. If tight-space access and handling matter more to you than just buying the cheapest option, this one earns a look.

Made for Tight Working Areas

The main advantage here is simple: the tool stays compact even when loaded. That helps when you're sealing around framing, mechanical runs, cabinets, and other places where extra rear clearance gets in the way.

• Built-in push rod keeps the overall length from changing when a cartridge is installed
• Designed specifically for caulking in and around tight spaces

Better Control on the Bead

A centered handle and compact body help this caulk applicator feel balanced instead of awkward. That gives you steadier control when you're trying to run a clean line without stopping and readjusting your grip.

• Center-positioned handle improves weight balance in the hand
• Elastomer non-slip grip helps keep control during repetitive use

Built to Carry and Hang Easily

Small convenience features matter when you use a caulk gun all day. The rotating hook makes storage and access easier, and the lightweight engineered body keeps the tool practical for punch-list work and repeated use.

• 360 rotating mounting hook gives you flexible hanging positions
• High-strength engineering plastics add toughness without unnecessary weight
