Key Features

Clean Panel Cuts This Freud panel sizing blade uses a flat triple chip grind and 60-tooth layout to leave cleaner edges in sheet goods, which means less cleanup and less rework after the cut. Built for Longer Runs Freud's anti-vibration design, advanced plate flatness, and Silver I.C.E. coating help the blade stay stable, run cooler, and keep cutting accurately through production work. Made for Sheet Goods The Freud LSB32006X 320mm Extended Life Panel Sizing Blade for Horizontal Beam Saw is built for sizing single or multiple panels in laminate, melamine, plywood, MDF, OSB, chipboard, particle board, and similar materials.

Overview

The Freud LSB32006X 320mm Extended Life Panel Sizing Blade for Horizontal Beam Saw is a 12-5/8" (320 mm) panel sizing blade built for horizontal beam saw applications. This is a circular saw blade designed for sizing single or multiple panels with clean, accurate cuts and long service life. Model Number: LSB32006X. If you run a shop cutting sheet stock all day, this is the kind of blade that matters because cut quality, consistency, and time between sharpenings directly affect output.

On the numbers that matter, this blade uses a 12-5/8" (320 mm) diameter, 60 teeth, an 80 mm arbor, and a 10 degree hook angle. Freud also specifies a flat triple chip grind, which is a strong fit for laminate, melamine, veneered panels, plywood, MDF, OSB, chipboard, particle board, and fiber board. In practical terms, that tooth geometry is built to control edge quality on abrasive sheet materials where a rough cut can turn into extra sanding, chipping, or wasted parts.

Freud's X-series extended life design is aimed at shops that need more than just basic cutting. The TiCo high-density micro-grain carbide is there for edge retention, so the blade holds a sharper edge with less wear. The Silver I.C.E. coating reduces heat and drag on the blade body, which helps when you're feeding large panels or running repeated cuts through demanding man-made materials. Less heat and less friction usually mean better cut stability and longer usable blade life, especially in production settings.

The blade body itself is built around precision and control. Freud calls out an anti-vibration design, advanced plate design, and high plate flatness. That combination matters because panel saw work is all about repeatable accuracy. A blade that tracks true and stays rigid is easier on the machine, easier on the material, and easier on the operator trying to hold quality over a long shift. Freud also notes an ultimate precision grinding process, which is one of those details that sounds small until you see the difference in cut finish and reduced rework.

From a jobsite or shop-floor standpoint, this is not a general-purpose framing blade trying to do everything. It is purpose-built for horizontal beam saw use and sheet-good processing. The 80 mm arbor and beam saw application make that clear. If your workflow centers around breaking down panel stock for cabinets, closets, fixtures, casework, or production woodworking, a dedicated panel sizing blade like this is the right move because it is designed around finish quality and machine compatibility rather than broad, catch-all use.

This blade makes the most sense for cabinet shops, architectural millwork, production woodworking, commercial fixture work, and serious panel processing operations. It is also a smart pick for shops regularly cutting laminated or melamine-faced stock where edge cleanliness matters. If you're looking for a blade to live on a horizontal beam saw and spend its time on sheet materials instead of mixed jobsite lumber, this Freud is aimed right where it should be.

Built for Production Panel Work

This blade is made for shops that process panels all day, not occasional one-off cuts. The goal is straightforward: cleaner cuts, steadier tracking, and longer useful life when you're running sheet goods through a beam saw.

• Designed for sizing single or multiple panels
• Purpose-built for horizontal beam saw applications
• Extended life design helps reduce downtime for blade changes and sharpening

Engineered to Stay Accurate

Blade stability is a big deal on panel equipment. Freud backs this blade with anti-vibration design, precision grinding, and a rigid plate so it cuts smoother and holds accuracy better over repeated passes.

• 60-tooth configuration for refined panel cutting
• Advanced plate flatness supports precise tracking
• Anti-vibration design helps reduce movement during the cut

Ready for Common Sheet Materials

This is the right style of blade when your material stack leans hard toward man-made boards and finished panels. The flat triple chip grind is a practical choice for abrasive surfaces and finish-sensitive cuts.

• Suitable for laminate, melamine, plywood, MDF, OSB, chipboard, particle board, and fiber board
• 10 degree hook angle supports controlled cutting action
• TiCo carbide and Silver I.C.E. coating are built around durability in demanding sheet goods

Pro Tip

If your shop cuts a lot of melamine and laminate-faced stock, keep this blade dedicated to panel work instead of mixing it into rough sheet cutting. A purpose-specific blade stays sharper longer and keeps your finish quality more consistent from the first cut to the last.
