Key Features

Clean Crosscuts The 60-tooth alternate top bevel layout is built for ultra-finish wood cutting, so you get smoother cuts in oak, pine, melamine, veneer plywood, and delicate molding with less cleanup after the cut. Longer Cutting Life Diablo uses TiCo Hi-Density carbide for this circular saw blade, which helps the teeth stay sharp longer and hold a precise edge when the work needs to stay clean. Fast, Thin Kerf The super thin laser-cut kerf is designed to cut quickly while removing less material, which helps with speed, reduced waste, and a cleaner finish on trim and panel work.

Overview

Diablo D0660A 6-1/2 in. x 60-Tooth Ultra Finish Saw Blade is a fine-finish circular saw blade for wood cutting. This is a circular saw blade designed for ultra-finish crosscutting in wood and sheet goods. Model Number: D0660A. If your priority is a cleaner edge on cabinet parts, moldings, plywood, or melamine, this blade is built for that kind of work instead of rough framing cuts.

The big story here is the tooth count and grind. With 60 teeth in a 6-1/2 inch blade and an alternate top bevel tooth configuration, this blade is aimed at smooth crosscuts and minimizing chipping. That matters when you are cutting materials that show every mistake, like veneer plywood, trim stock, and prefinished surfaces. Diablo specifically positions it for ultra finish wood cutting, and the application list backs that up: oak, pine, melamine, veneer plywood, and delicate molding.

Diablo also uses TiCo Hi-Density carbide, which is their premium carbide formula for longer edge life and better cut quality over time. On a finish blade, that matters more than it does on a general-purpose blade because a dull tooth shows up fast in the finished edge. If you are trying to keep sanding and touch-up to a minimum, carbide quality is not just a spec on paper. It directly affects how long the blade keeps making a cut you can actually live with.

The Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating is another practical feature, not just a label. Heat, pitch buildup, and corrosion are what slowly turn a good blade into an annoying one. A coated blade runs cleaner and is easier to maintain, especially if you cut a mix of softwood, hardwood, and sheet goods. That helps the blade keep cutting smoothly and can reduce the drag that shows up when a blade starts getting gummed up.

The super thin laser-cut kerf is there for speed and efficiency. A thin kerf means the blade removes less material, which helps the saw cut faster and puts less load into the cut. On a cordless circular saw, that can also help keep the saw from feeling bogged down in finish work. On a corded saw, it still pays off in smoother feed and less wasted material. Diablo also lists vibration dampening technology, which is important on a finish blade because a stable blade tracks better and leaves a more consistent edge.

Fitment is straightforward for the common 6-1/2 inch circular saw category. The blade uses a 5/8 inch arbor and is marked for corded or cordless use. The product image also shows a diamond knockout marking of 13/16 inch, which can matter depending on your saw setup. Max RPM is listed at 10,000, so this blade is intended to handle normal circular saw operating speeds without issue when matched correctly to the saw.

This is not the blade you buy for demolition, framing, or dirty lumber. It is for users who care what the cut edge looks like. Cabinet installers, finish carpenters, remodelers, punch-list crews, and serious DIY woodworkers are the right audience here. If you mostly cut visible material and want less chipping and less sanding, this blade makes more sense than a lower-tooth-count general-purpose blade.

Bottom line: this blade is built for clean results, not brute-force production cutting. If your work includes trim, panels, shelves, veneered stock, or fine crosscuts where the finished edge matters, the Diablo D0660A 6-1/2 in. x 60-Tooth Ultra Finish Saw Blade is the right kind of blade to keep on the saw.
