Overview

The Woodpeckers CDSQ-BL12-20 in-DEXABLE 12 Inch Combo/Double Square Blade is a replacement stainless steel square blade for Woodpeckers in-DEXABLE combo and double square systems. This is a square blade designed for measuring, marking, and layout work in woodworking and shop setup. Model Number: CDSQ-BL12-20. If you already own an in-DEXABLE head and need more reach or need to replace a damaged blade, this is the component that gets your square back in service without buying a full new setup.

What makes this blade matter is the way the in-DEXABLE system is built around interchangeable components. Instead of replacing an entire square when your needs change, you can swap or add the blade length that fits the work in front of you. In this case, the 12 inch blade hits a useful middle ground for cabinet parts, machine setup, joinery layout, and general bench work where a short blade can feel limiting but an oversized rule gets in the way.

The stainless steel blade construction is a practical detail, not fluff. On a layout tool, the blade is the working edge, the measuring reference, and the part that sees the most contact with stock, benches, and tool storage. Stainless steel helps the blade stay durable in day-to-day shop use and gives you a dependable edge for striking lines and checking setups.

This blade is part of the Woodpeckers inch-based standard in-DEXABLE platform. That compatibility point is important because these components are not universal across every in-DEXABLE version. Mini components fit only mini and Joiner's heads, standard components fit only standard and XL heads, and metric components fit only metric heads. In other words, this is the right blade only if you are running an inch-based standard or XL in-DEXABLE head.

For woodworkers, furniture builders, cabinet installers, and serious hobbyists, this kind of component approach makes a lot of sense. You can keep the head you like, change blade lengths as needed, and replace only the part that wears or gets damaged. That is cheaper, simpler, and more flexible than treating the whole square like a one-piece tool.

This is not a complete square and it is not a universal blade for every square head on the market. It is a blade-only component for the Woodpeckers in-DEXABLE system. If that is the system you already use, this part is a straightforward way to expand capability or keep an existing measuring and layout setup working the way it should.

More Useful Layout Range at the Bench

A 12 inch square blade gives you enough length for real furniture and cabinet layout without becoming awkward for everyday use. It is a solid choice for woodworkers who want one blade that covers most bench tasks cleanly.

• Blade length: 12 in.
• Stainless steel construction for durable measuring and marking use.
• Designed as a blade-only component for Woodpeckers in-DEXABLE combo and double square systems.
