Easy To Identify With the ADD-1 model designation, this Woodpeckers block is easy to match back to the right part when you are organizing your measuring and setup tools.

Overview

The Woodpeckers ADD-1 Add-An-Inch Block is a compact reference block from Woodpeckers, Model Number ADD-1. This is a setup block designed for measurement, spacing, and repeatable shop setup tasks where adding a fixed one-inch reference can save time and cut down on avoidable layout mistakes.

What matters here is the purpose. A dedicated setup block gives you a consistent physical reference instead of making you measure the same offset over and over. In real shop use, that can speed up repetitive adjustments, help with spacing, and make setups easier to repeat from one operation to the next.

The appeal of a tool like this is straightforward: it is simple, specific, and easy to work into your normal routine. For woodworkers and serious DIY users, small setup aids often do more for day-to-day accuracy than complicated tools because they remove extra steps. When the reference is always the same, your setup is easier to trust.

Woodpeckers is known for precision-focused woodworking tools and accessories, and the ADD-1 Add-An-Inch Block fits that kind of workflow. It is the sort of shop accessory that makes sense for anyone building a more repeatable setup process at the bench, table saw, router table, drill press, or other stations where fixed spacing matters.

If you are the kind of user who values quick setups, dependable spacing, and less back-and-forth with a tape measure or rule, this block makes the most sense. It is especially well suited for woodworking shops, cabinet work, jigs and fixtures, and other tasks where a fixed one-inch reference is more useful than remeasuring every time.
