Key Features

Built for Impact Made for impact driver use, this bit is set up to handle repeated fastening shock better than a standard driver bit. That means fewer stripped screws and fewer bits getting chewed up early. 62 HRC Hardness The rated hardness matters because it helps the tip hold its shape under load. For anyone driving lots of fasteners, that translates to a more consistent fit in the screw head. Magnetic Phillips Bit The magnetic Phillips #2 tip helps hold screws in place when you are working overhead, in corners, or starting fasteners with one hand. It is a simple feature that saves time all day.

Overview

The Vessel Tool IBPH250P15T Impact Ball Magnetic Phillips #2 2 in. 15-Piece Bit Set is a Phillips driver bit set built for impact driver fastening. This is a driver bit set designed for driving Phillips screws with an impact driver. Model Number: IBPH250P15T. If you spend your day running deck screws, framing screws, cabinet fasteners, or general construction hardware, this set is aimed at the kind of repetitive work that destroys ordinary bits.

The core setup is straightforward and useful: you get fifteen Phillips #2 bits, each measuring 2" (50 mm) long, with a standard 1/4 inch hex shank. That size combination matters because Phillips #2 is one of the most common fastener sizes on the job, while the 2 inch length gives you a little extra reach over short insert bits without getting awkward in tight spots. For general fastening work, it is the right format for quick chuck changes and everyday use.

What separates this set from a throwaway bit pack is the impact-focused design. The product imagery calls out 62 HRC hardness and the Vessel Impact Ball torsion design. In plain terms, that means the bit is built to absorb the hammering and twisting force that an impact driver delivers. Instead of transferring every shock straight to the tip, the torsion zone helps take some of that hit, which can help reduce breakage and keep the bit engaged more consistently in the screw.

The magnetic tip is another feature that earns its keep. On paper, magnetism sounds small. On the job, it means easier screw starts, less fumbling when you are on a ladder, and less time chasing dropped fasteners. For trim, light framing, punch-list work, and general install tasks, that little bit of screw retention adds up fast.

Vessel also keeps the fitment practical. The 1/4 inch hex shank is the standard interface most users want for impact drivers and quick-change chucks, so this set drops right into the tools most contractors and serious DIY users already own. There is no weird proprietary setup here. If your work revolves around cordless fastening, this bit format makes sense.

From a build standpoint, the set is made in Japan, which matters to buyers who pay attention to bit quality and machining consistency. A driver bit lives or dies by how well the tip fits the screw and how long it keeps that fit under load. With impact-rated construction, a hardened profile, and a torsion section meant to absorb shock, this set is clearly aimed at users who want better life from a bit they use constantly.

Who should buy it? Anyone who burns through Phillips #2 bits with an impact driver. That includes carpenters, remodelers, deck builders, maintenance techs, installers, and serious homeowners who are tired of rounded tips and cam-out. If Phillips #2 screws are part of your normal workflow, the Vessel Tool IBPH250P15T Impact Ball Magnetic Phillips #2 2 in. 15-Piece Bit Set is the kind of consumable that makes daily fastening work smoother and more predictable.

Made for Repeated Impact Fastening

This is where an impact-rated bit actually proves itself. The set is built for the sharp rotational hits that come from an impact driver, so it is a better fit for repeated screwdriving than a basic drill bit accessory.

• Designed specifically for impact driver use
• Phillips #2 profile matches one of the most common screw head sizes in construction and general fastening

Shock Absorption That Helps Bit Life

The Impact Ball design is there for one reason: to deal with torque shock before it trashes the bit. That matters when you are sending a lot of screws and need a bit that keeps working instead of twisting out or chipping early.

• Torsion-style center section is designed to absorb fastening shock
• 62 HRC hardness points to a tip built for wear resistance under repeated use

Stock Up on the Bit You Actually Use

If Phillips #2 is your everyday bit, buying one at a time gets old fast. A 15-piece pack keeps replacements on hand so you can swap out worn bits and keep moving instead of digging through the truck for a spare.

• 15-piece pack for higher-use fastening work
• Each bit is 2" (50 mm) long with a 1/4 in. hex shank

Tool Nut's Take

Vessel Tool IBPH250P15T Impact Ball Magnetic Phillips #2 2 in. 15-Piece Bit Set for the screws you drive every day

This is the kind of bit pack that makes sense for anyone who is hard on Phillips bits and wants better durability from an impact driver accessory they actually use constantly.

• Who it's for: Pros and serious DIY users running a lot of Phillips #2 screws in wood, construction hardware, and general install work.
• Why it stands out: Impact-rated design, magnetic tip, 62 HRC hardness, and a 15-piece count built around the most common fastening profile.
• Worth knowing: This is a focused set, not a mixed assortment. That is a plus if Phillips #2 is your bread-and-butter bit, but it is not meant to cover every screw type in the truck.
