Key Features

Built to Bite Wedge-shaped screw-removal tips dig into damaged recesses to make fresh contact, so you can turn screws that normal bits just skate on. Impact Driver Ready Use these screw removing bits with an electric impact driver when you need more torque to break loose seized or corroded fasteners. Common Sizes Covered The set includes Phillips and metric hex sizes for the stripped screws you actually run into, with duplicate Phillips sizes where you tend to wear them out.

Overview

The Vessel HZB10P01 IMPACT & OUT Screw Removing Bit Assortment is a screw removing bit set designed to extract stubborn, stripped, and stuck screws. This is a screw removing bit assortment designed for removing damaged fasteners. Model Number: HZB10P01.

These are not everyday driver bits. The tip geometry is purpose-built for removal, with a wedge-shaped design meant to seat deeper and resist cam-out so you can actually transfer torque into a chewed-up screw head. When the recess is rounded out, that deeper bite is what gives you a fighting chance instead of turning the head into a smooth crater.

The kit is sized for the common problem fasteners: Phillips and metric hex. You get Phillips sizes one through three, plus hex sizes two millimeter through five millimeter, so you can match the screw head closely and keep the bit from skipping. Two Phillips number two bits and two Phillips number three bits are included because those are the sizes that usually take the most abuse during removal.

Bit length is 4" (100 mm), which gives you useful reach past trim, brackets, and recessed hardware while still staying controllable in an impact driver. The set is also marked for screw removal only, which matters because removal tips are shaped to grab damaged heads, not to drive new fasteners cleanly.

On the job, you can run these with an electric impact driver when the fastener is seized, or use them with an IMPACT & OUT style hand screwdriver method (insert, grip, and strike) when you need to shock the threads loose before turning.

If you work on equipment, automotive, maintenance, or you just deal with old hardware that has been painted over and rounded out, this set is a smart add-on. It is made in Japan and focused on one job: getting the screw out without drilling the head off.

Turn Stripped Screws Into Removable Screws

When a screw head is rounded, the goal is simple: get the bit to seat and stay seated while you apply torque. The wedge-style removal tip is designed to reduce cam-out so you can break the fastener loose instead of destroying it further.

• Wedge-shaped tip design helps prevent cam-out during removal
• Designed for removing stubborn and stripped screws

Hit It, Then Turn It

For really stubborn screws, seating the bit before you apply torque can be the difference between removal and a drilled-out mess. The IMPACT & OUT method uses a strike to help the tip bite, then you rotate to back the screw out.

• Intended use: insert, grip, and strike to seat the removal tip
• Works for fasteners that are stuck, corroded, or already cammed-out

Reach and Size Coverage That Makes Sense

The 4 inch length gives you enough reach for recessed hardware, and the set spans Phillips and metric hex so you can match the fastener instead of forcing the closest bit you have.

• Overall length: 4" (100 mm)
• Sizes: Phillips #1, Phillips #2 (2), Phillips #3 (2), Hex 2 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm
