JAWSFIT Tip Bites Into the Screw A black-point JAWSFIT tip profile grips the screw head more aggressively than a standard Phillips or slotted tip, reducing cam-out under torque. Chrome Vanadium Steel Shank Shanks are forged from chrome vanadium steel and heat-treated using the same material process behind Vessel's Tatara-forged blades, for a driver that holds up under repeated torque. Knurled Shank & Hex Grip A knurled shank section speeds up quick hand-turning, while cushioned hexagonal cross-section corners on the handle keep the driver from rolling off a bench and add wrenching purchase.

Overview

This is an 8-piece screwdriver set covering both slotted and Phillips fasteners for general and stubby-reach work. The Vessel 9008EVA Megadora JAWSFIT Screwdriver 8-Piece Set combines six full-length No. 900 drivers with two No. 920 stubby drivers, giving you slotted and Phillips coverage in both standard and tight-clearance formats from a single case.

Every driver in the set uses Vessel's JAWSFIT tip design a black-point tip profile the manufacturer describes as "biting into the screw" to reduce cam-out compared with a standard stamped tip, particularly useful on worn or painted-over screw heads where a normal driver tends to slip. Shanks are chrome vanadium steel, and a knurled section near the tip is built specifically for quick hand-spinning when you're running a screw down before final torque.

Handle construction carries Vessel's cushioned hexagonal cross-section design: the flat corners resist rolling on a sloped or angled work surface and give you a little extra wrenching leverage with your palm on stubborn fasteners, without needing a separate bolster. Vessel also ties the blade steel to its Tatara heritage a traditional Japanese iron-forging process the company has used since its 1916 founding, applied to the hardened steel in these blades.

Two of the eight drivers are No. 920 stubby-length screwdrivers (a 1-in. slotted and a 1-in. Phillips), useful for driving screws in tight clearances behind panels, in cabinets, or under dash and engine-bay components where a full-length driver won't fit.

This set suits anyone who wants full slotted-and-Phillips coverage plus a stubby option in one case general maintenance, electrical work, appliance repair, and automotive tasks where clearance and screw condition both come into play.

Slotted and Phillips, Full-Length and Stubby

Eight drivers cover the sizes and formats you're most likely to need without duplicating what's already in a general toolbox.

• Slotted: 3/16" x 3" (5.5 x 75 mm), 1/4" x 6" (6 x 150 mm), 5/16" x 6" (8 x 150 mm), plus a 1/4" x 1" (6 x 25 mm) stubby
• Phillips: #1x75mm, #2x150mm, #3x150mm, plus a #2x25mm stubby
• Stubby drivers reach fasteners full-length drivers can't

A Tip Designed to Grip, Not Slip

The JAWSFIT tip profile is machined to seat deeper into the screw's cross recess than a standard tip, keeping the driver from riding up and rounding out the head.

• Reduces cam-out on worn, painted, or over-torqued screws
• Black-point finish on the tip for added wear resistance
• Works across both the standard and stubby drivers in this set
