Overview

The Tajima SF-CHLD Clip-N-Hold Belt Clamping System is a belt-mounted tool holder accessory built for organizing and carrying compatible waist tools on a work belt. This is a tool holster accessory designed for attaching compatible holders and tools to a waist belt. Model Number: SF-CHLD. If you want a lightweight way to add a quick-access attachment point without rebuilding your whole belt setup, this is the kind of small part that makes a real difference.

What matters here is speed and convenience. Tajima designed the quick-fit belt holder so you can attach and detach the housing with one hand. On the job, that means less fumbling when you are changing what you carry and less time spent taking your belt apart just to move one accessory. The aftermarket style also allows insertion from the middle of the belt rather than requiring full belt removal, which is a practical upgrade for anyone who already has a loaded belt.

The fit range is straightforward and important. The SF-CHLD is built for wearable waist belts up to 2.0 inches wide and up to 0.1 inches thick. That tells you right away whether it belongs on your setup. If your belt falls inside that range, this holder gives you a cleaner way to mount compatible gear without adding much weight. At about 0.1 lb, it does not load down your belt by itself.

Tajima also includes a slide stopper, and that is not just a throw-in part. It is there to help keep the holder positioned where you want it and to reduce the chance of shifting, ripping, or misplacement during use. For anyone who wears a belt all day, little movement adds up fast. A holder that stays where you clip it is easier to trust when you are climbing ladders, kneeling, or moving between tasks.

The body is described as a lightweight resin type, which makes sense for a belt accessory that needs to stay light and easy to reposition. This is not a bulky pouch or oversized holster. It is a compact clamping system meant to create a belt connection point for the tools and holders you actually use. It also has a mounting tool weight capacity up to 6.6 lbs, which gives helpful context for lighter belt-carried tools and accessories.

The Tajima SF-CHLD Clip-N-Hold Belt Clamping System makes the most sense for users building a modular belt setup: remodelers, trim carpenters, electricians, installers, and serious DIYers who want faster access and cleaner organization. If your priority is a simple, lightweight clip system for a waist belt, this accessory does its job. If you need a full pouch system with storage compartments, this is not that. It is a compact holder base meant to improve how your belt carries compatible gear.

Set the holder where your hand naturally reaches before locking in the slide stopper. On a busy belt, a half-inch of placement can be the difference between a smooth grab and a holder that always seems to be in the wrong spot.
