Key Features

Ultra-Fine Layout Lines The ultra-fine powder lays down a clean, even coat in your chalk box so snapped lines read sharp instead of fuzzy. That matters when you're laying out cuts, walls, or trim and need the mark to stay precise. Black Semi-Permanent Dye This Tajima snap line dye is made for semi-permanent marking tasks where you want better hold than basic chalk. The black dye produces a bold line that resists fading better than standard temporary layout chalk. Easy-Fill Bottle The refill nozzle is built to make loading a chalk box quicker and cleaner. Less spilled powder on the bench means less waste and less cleanup on the job.

Overview

The Tajima PLC3-BK300 Snap Line Dye is a black powdered marking chalk made for refillable chalk boxes and snap line layout work. This is a snap line dye designed for semi-permanent marking tasks. Model Number: PLC3-BK300. If you need a cleaner, bolder layout line than basic jobsite chalk, this 10.5 oz bottle is built for that job.

What sets this product apart is the powder itself. Tajima describes it as an ultra-fine chalk, which matters because finer powder coats the line more evenly and helps produce a sharper snap. In real use, that means your line is easier to follow when you're laying out framing, roofing, flooring, trim, or general construction marks where accuracy saves time.

The black formula is intended for semi-permanent marking, so it is a better fit for lines that need to stay visible longer than temporary chalk marks. If your work stretches over multiple steps or multiple days, a more durable layout mark can keep you from snapping the same line again and again. That is the practical advantage here.

Tajima also builds this bottle with an easy-fill nozzle. That sounds simple, but anyone who has dumped chalk all over a truck box or bench knows why it matters. A controlled refill opening helps you top off a chalk line reel with less mess and less wasted dye.

At 10.5 oz, this is a good everyday size for keeping a chalk box supplied without carrying a large bulk container around the site. The bottle is compact enough to ride in a gang box, pouch, or tool bag, and the round bottle format is straightforward to handle when you are refilling on the fly.

This Tajima marking chalk is best suited to pros and serious DIY users who already rely on a chalk line for layout and want a darker, more durable line. Carpenters, roofers, remodelers, and general contractors are the obvious fit. If you use a snap line often and want better line quality with less refill mess, this is the kind of consumable upgrade that actually makes sense.

Cleaner Refills, Sharper Layout Work

This black snap line dye is built for the part of layout work that gets overlooked until the line matters. Ultra-fine powder helps the string coat more evenly, and the easy-fill bottle makes it faster to keep your chalk box ready without dumping powder everywhere.

• Black semi-permanent formula for longer-lasting visibility
• Easy-fill nozzle helps reduce spills during chalk box refills

• Why it stands out: The ultra-fine powder helps produce a sharper line, and the easy-fill bottle is a lot more practical than fighting with messy bulk chalk.
