Overview

Tajima PLC2-R300 Micro Chalk Red 10.6 oz (300 g) is a refill marking chalk for chalk line boxes and layout work. This is a marking chalk designed for snapping bold, uniform layout lines on the job. Model Number: PLC2-R300. If you need a fine red chalk that loads easily and lays down a consistent line, this is the one.

The big selling point here is the chalk itself. Tajima calls it an ultra-fine formula, and that matters because finer chalk coats the line more evenly. In real use, that means cleaner snap lines, better visibility, and less wasted time re-snapping because the mark came out weak or broken.

This chalk is made for tradespeople who still rely on fast, accurate layout. Whether you are laying out framing lines, general construction reference marks, or straight guides for remodeling work, a uniform line is what keeps the rest of the job moving. Cheap chalk can clump, feed poorly, or leave inconsistent marks. A fine formula helps avoid that.

The bottle is set up for practical refill use with an easy-fill nozzle. That is a small detail, but it matters when you are topping off a chalk box without dumping powder all over your tools or the truck. Less mess means faster refills and less waste.

At 10.6 oz (300 g), this is a good everyday size for regular users. It gives you enough material for repeat refills while still being easy to store with your layout gear. For crews that go through chalk steadily, this size makes sense as a standard stock item rather than a one-off purchase.

This Tajima micro chalk is best suited for anyone using a chalk box or snap line system and wanting dependable line quality instead of just the cheapest refill on the shelf. Carpenters, remodelers, general contractors, and serious DIYers doing layout-heavy work will get the most out of it.
