Ready to Install This Stiletto replacement handle includes the wedges, hardware, and instructions needed for the swap. You are not hunting down small parts just to get a hammer back in service.

Overview

The Stiletto STLHDL-S 18-in. Straight Hickory Replacement Handle is built for replacing worn or damaged handles on compatible Stiletto hammer heads. This is a replacement hammer handle designed for restoring compatible Stiletto titanium and steel hammer heads. Model number STLHDL-S. If you like the feel of a wood handle and want to keep a good hammer working instead of replacing the whole tool, this is the part that gets you there.

This handle uses American hickory, which matters for one simple reason: it gives you the traditional flex and feedback a lot of users still want in a hammer. Compared with a rigid feel, hickory helps reduce recoil shock and vibration during repeated strikes. For a framing hammer or general driving hammer, that can make a long day a little easier on your arm without changing the basic swing you are used to.

The straight 18 inch layout is aimed at users who want a familiar balance and reach. Stiletto also notes that the handle is precision turned and gauged for a consistent fit. That is important on a replacement handle because a sloppy fit at the eye leads to a short service life, while a properly fitted handle helps keep the head secure and the swing predictable.

Installation hardware is part of the package, including a poplar wood wedge and two round steel wedges, along with replacement instructions. That saves time when you are rebuilding a hammer instead of piecing together the install parts yourself. The wedge set is there to lock the handle into the head correctly so the repair lasts.

Compatibility is a big part of the value here. The Stiletto STLHDL-S 18-in. Straight Hickory Replacement Handle fits Stiletto 12 oz and 14 oz titanium heads. It also fits 19 oz and 21 oz steel heads. If you already own one of those compatible heads, this replacement handle is a straightforward way to keep that hammer in rotation.

This product makes the most sense for carpenters, framers, remodelers, and serious DIY users who already know exactly which Stiletto head they are rebuilding. It is also a smart buy for anyone who prefers maintaining a quality hammer rather than tossing it when the handle is done. Bottom line: if the head is still worth keeping, this replacement handle is the practical fix.

Bring a Good Hammer Back to Work

The value here is simple: you keep the hammer head you already trust and replace the part that wears out. For users who prefer wood-handle feel, this gives you the classic hickory swing without buying an entirely new hammer.
