Description:

Paint scraper with concave cutting edge for scraping e.g. profiled linings, facades with hat caps and coarser joinery.

Paint scraper for rounded profiles on coarser joinery

Speedheater's profile scraper is easy and effective to use on heated paint. A profile scraper is for use on larger joinery such as scraping profiled facades, hat caps on facades, profiled doors, linings and furniture. It is intended for use when scraping heated paint on wood according to the Speedheater methodTM. Our profile scraper is designed to reduce the force required by the user and not to damage the wood.

Highest quality scraper blades

Our smart scraper has a blade that is designed to fit a variety of profiles. The blades are made of a hard and durable special steel, which makes our scraper a long-lasting investment. In addition, the blades are sharpenable by grinding the back, which preserves the unique profiles of the blade. The SH profile scraper also has an ergonomic handle that makes it easier for the user.

Tips for using a profile scraper

• Make sure the paint is heated enough
• Sharpen the cutting edge only on the back side
• Raise and lower the scraper for each new stroke
