Key Features

Stays Sharp Longer The micrograin carbide construction and triple-edged teeth are built to resist wear and edge damage. That means more usable life and more consistent wood cutting before it is time to swap blades. Smoother Cuts Precision laser body slots help cut down noise and vibration, so the blade tracks more cleanly through the cut. That matters when you are handling big stock and want better control. Built for Big Saws The SKIL SPT1000 16-5/16 in. x 32-Tooth Saw Blade is made for large circular saw applications, including the SKILSAW Super Sawsquatch. If you are cutting framing lumber or beam stock, this is the right size class for the job.

Overview

The SKIL SPT1000 16-5/16 in. x 32-Tooth Saw Blade is a carbide-tipped circular saw blade built for wood cutting on large-format framing saws. This is a circular saw blade designed for wood cutting, crosscuts, and bevel cuts with 16-5/16 inch saws. Model Number SPT1000. If you run a SKILSAW Super Sawsquatch or another compatible large-blade saw, this blade is built to give you cleaner cuts, longer edge life, and better control than a bargain replacement blade.

The core story here is durability and cut quality. SKIL uses an original micrograin carbide formula with triple-edged teeth to help the cutting edge resist damage and hold sharpness longer. On the job, that means the blade is better suited for repeated cuts in wood without losing performance as quickly. The 32-tooth layout gives you a balance that makes sense for serious framing and beam work: cleaner results than a rough framing blade, without getting overly specialized.

SKIL also adds a dark Speedcoat finish to reduce friction. That matters because less drag helps the blade move through material with less heat buildup, especially on long cuts or repeated passes in dimensional lumber. A coated blade can also stay cleaner in use, which helps maintain more predictable cutting performance over time.

For control, the SPT1000 uses shouldered tooth tips for reduced kickback, plus precision laser body slots to cut down vibration and noise. Those details are not filler. On a large 16-5/16 inch blade, stability matters. Less chatter helps the blade track more accurately through the cut, and reduced vibration makes the saw feel more settled when you are working through heavy stock.

Fitment is straightforward but important. This blade has a 16-5/16 inch diameter and a 1 inch arbor, and it is listed as compatible with the SKILSAW 16-5/16 inch Super Sawsquatch Worm Drive Saw as well as most major brands that use the same blade size and arbor setup. It is a wood-cutting blade with a flat top tooth configuration and a kerf of 0.1063 inch, so it is aimed at users who need confident, repeatable cuts in framing materials rather than fine-finish trim work.

This blade makes the most sense for framers, timber crews, general contractors, and serious remodelers who are using large circular saws for big stock. It is also a smart replacement for anyone who wants to maintain the cutting performance of a Super Sawsquatch instead of stepping down to a generic blade. If your work regularly involves wood beams, crosscuts in framing lumber, or bevel work where blade stability matters, the SKIL SPT1000 is built for that lane.

Built to Stay Accurate in Heavy Cuts

Large-diameter blades have to do more than just fit the saw. They need to stay stable when the cut gets long and the material gets heavy. The SPT1000 is designed around that reality with features that help the blade cut cleaner and feel more controlled.

• Precision laser body slots help reduce noise and vibration
• Shouldered tips are designed to reduce kickback during demanding cuts
• 32-tooth design balances cut quality and jobsite productivity for wood cutting

Made for Super Sawsquatch Replacement Duty

• Who it's for: Framers, timber crews, and contractors running a 16-5/16 inch saw for beams, heavy lumber, and serious wood cutting.
• Why it stands out: The micrograin carbide teeth, reduced-friction coating, and laser body slots all work toward the same goal: longer blade life and steadier cuts on a large-diameter blade.
• Worth knowing: This is a specialized blade size, so make sure your saw takes a 16-5/16 in. blade with a 1 in. arbor. It is not a general-purpose blade for standard 7-1/4 in. circular saws.
