Key Features

Locks Dead Parallel The fence locks parallel to the blade, which is what you want for straight, repeatable rips without fighting drift or second-guessing your setup. Zero Deflection Once locked in place, this rip fence stays put. That matters when you are feeding sheet goods or long stock and need the cut line to stay consistent from front to back. Left and Right Scales Separate scale indicators on each side of the blade make the SawStop TGI2-FA Industrial T-Glide Rip Fence easier to read and faster to set, whether your fence position changes with the job.

Overview

SawStop TGI2-FA Industrial T-Glide Rip Fence is a heavy-duty rip fence made for the SawStop Industrial Cabinet Saw. This is a rip fence designed for accurate, repeatable table saw ripping on the SawStop Industrial Cabinet Saw platform. Model Number TGI2-FA. If your priority is straight cuts, dependable lockup, and fence movement that feels familiar instead of fussy, this is the part that handles that job.

The biggest reason this fence matters is simple: it locks parallel to the blade. On a cabinet saw, that is the difference between clean, confidence-inspiring work and wasting time checking alignment every time you move the fence. SawStop also calls out zero deflection when locked in place, so once you set it, it is built to stay where you put it while feeding material through the cut.

The T-Glide design keeps the form and function familiar, which is a real advantage in a busy shop. You do not need to relearn how to position the fence or fight an odd locking action. It is built to feel intuitive, and that usually means less setup time and fewer interruptions when you are moving between dimensions during production work.

Separate scale indicators on each side for left or right of the blade are another practical touch. That makes the fence easier to read in real use, especially when your workflow changes depending on stock size or blade position. Instead of relying on one reading method and doing mental math, you get a more direct reference that helps speed up setup.

Build-wise, this is described as solid, heavy-duty, accurate, and dependable, and the listed 23 lb weight backs that up. A rip fence should not feel light or flimsy. Weight and rigidity are part of what help it track smoothly and hold alignment under pressure, especially when you are handling larger panels or long boards that can put extra side load on the fence during a cut.

Compatibility is straightforward: this fence is made for the SawStop Industrial Cabinet Saw (ICS). That matters because fence fit, rail geometry, and lockup are not universal across table saw platforms. If you are running an ICS and need the proper SawStop fence solution, this is the product to look at. If you are using another saw platform, compatibility should be verified before buying.

Who should buy it? Woodworkers, cabinet shops, school shops, and pro users running a SawStop Industrial Cabinet Saw who want reliable fence performance without gimmicks. If your saw earns its keep on repeatable ripping work, a fence that stays parallel and resists deflection is not a luxury. It is one of the parts that keeps your cuts consistent and your workflow moving.
