That is the feature people buy this saw for, and for good reason. That extra support matters when you are breaking down trim stock, sheet goods, and finish material on site. Overview

The SawStop Jobsite Saw Pro table saw, model JSS-120A60, is a portable 10 inch table saw built for serious jobsite cutting with SawStop's signature flesh-sensing safety system. This is a jobsite table saw designed for ripping, crosscutting, trim work, and general construction cutting on site. If you want a saw that travels well but still gives you real fence performance, useful table space, and the safety feature SawStop is known for, this is the one in their portable lineup that gets the most attention.

The numbers back up why this saw works in the field. You get a 25-1/2 inch max rip capacity to the right of the blade, 9-3/4 inches to the left, and up to 3-1/8 inches of cut depth at 0 degrees. At 45 degrees, it still cuts up to 2-1/8 inches deep. That means this compact saw can handle common framing stock, trim boards, shelving parts, flooring, and a lot of sheet-good work without feeling undersized.

One of the smartest parts of the design is the table layout. SawStop gives this saw a class-leading 24-5/8 inch table depth, which gives you more support in front of and behind the blade than many portable saws. On a jobsite table saw, that matters. More table support means better control, cleaner feeding, and less of that sketchy feeling you get when longer material wants to tip or drift during the cut.

The fence setup is another big reason people step up to this model. The hi-low T-style fence with Ergolock is built to slide easily and lock down firm with one touch. There is also a low fence face for safer cutting of thin workpieces. That is the kind of detail that matters if you do finish carpentry, cabinet installation, punch-list work, or any job where small parts need the same accuracy as full-size rips.

SawStop also made the adjustments practical. The one-turn elevation system raises and lowers the blade in a single turn of the handwheel, and the Quick-Tilt adjustment changes bevel settings in 1 degree increments from -1 to 46 degrees with left tilt. On the job, that means less time cranking, less fiddling to hit an angle, and faster changeover when you are bouncing between straight cuts and bevel work.

Dust handling is better thought out than what you usually see on a portable table saw. The active dust collection blade guard captures dust above the table, while the internal dust shroud helps pull waste from below. That gives you a cleaner cut line, less mess in finished spaces, and better dust control when hooked to extraction. For remodelers and interior finish crews, that is not a luxury feature. It saves cleanup time and makes the saw easier to use in occupied homes.

Mobility is built in, not treated like an add-on. This version is sold as a full set with the mobile cart, and there is no cartless option listed. The cart opens with a simple foot-pedal action and collapses for transport, while onboard storage keeps the guard, riving knife, miter gauge, blade wrenches, and other accessories together. If you move from truck to house to garage to punch-out space, you will appreciate not having loose parts rolling around the van.

Who is this saw for? Contractors, remodelers, finish carpenters, punch crews, and serious DIY users who want a portable table saw but are not willing to give up fence quality, table support, or safety. It runs on standard 120 volt power with a 15 amp universal motor, so it fits normal jobsite power without needing special wiring. If your work demands a true jobsite table saw with premium safety and better-than-average cutting support, the SawStop Jobsite Saw Pro is aimed squarely at you.

Fence Control That Actually Helps Accuracy

A portable saw is only as good as its fence. SawStop gives this one a hi-low T-style fence with Ergolock so it slides smoothly, locks firmly, and supports thin material more safely when you switch to the low face.

• 25-1/2 in. max rip capacity to the right of the blade
• 9-3/4 in. max rip capacity to the left of the blade
• On-demand shelf adds support for wider workpieces

Better Support and Faster Adjustments

The deep table and quick controls make this saw easier to live with all day. You spend less time cranking adjustments and less time hunting for accessories because the storage is built into the saw.

• 24-5/8 in. table depth for better material support
• One-turn blade elevation for quick height changes
• Onboard storage drawer keeps key accessories with the saw

Safer Cutting in Real Working Conditions

The headline safety feature is the brake system, but the saw is also designed to help with cleaner work and safer handling overall. Better dust collection and organized accessories make a difference when you are cutting inside finished spaces or switching setups quickly.

• Patented safety system stops the blade in less than 5 milliseconds on skin contact
• Active dust collection guard captures dust above the table
• Internal shroud improves below-table dust collection

Pro Tip

If you are cutting thin stock or narrow trim pieces, switch to the low fence face instead of trying to balance the material against the standard fence height. It gives you better control and makes those small, easy-to-burn cuts feel a lot more predictable.
