Key Features

22-Pocket Layout The 22-pocket setup keeps fasteners, hand tools, tape, and layout gear separated so you spend less time digging and more time moving. 5-Inch Comfort Belt The extra-wide belt spreads the load across your hips better than a narrow rig, which matters when this framing belt is packed out for a full day. Built for Jobsite Wear Premium top grain leather, copper rivets, and a no-spill holder system are there for one reason: keep the rig working hard outdoors without turning sloppy over time.

Overview

The Occidental Leather Pro Framer Comfort Tool Belt Setup is a professional leather framing belt built for carpenters and framers who carry a full load every day. This is a tool belt set designed for framing, fastening, and general carpentry work. Model B5180DB-SM is the small black version, sized for users who want the Pro Framer layout with the wider support belt and a right-handed setup.

This rig matters because the layout is already sorted for real production work. You get 22 pockets and tool holders, along with hand-specific tool placement meant to keep your dominant hand moving without crossing over or hunting for tools. On a framing crew, that kind of organization saves small chunks of time all day long, and those small chunks add up fast.

The belt itself is a big part of the story. Occidental uses a 5 inch wide comfort work belt, which gives the load more surface area across your hips and lower back. If you have ever spent a long day with a narrow belt cutting in, this is the upgrade you feel right away. It is built for users who actually wear their rig loaded, not for someone hanging a couple of tools around the garage once a month.

Material quality is another reason this setup has a following. The bags are made from premium top grain cowhide tanned with a blend of oils and waxes for heavy outdoor use. In plain terms, that means the leather is built to handle rough jobsite conditions while holding its shape. Occidental also reinforces the main bags with copper rivets, which is the kind of detail you want in a tool belt that sees daily abuse.

The storage layout is built around common framing tasks. This set includes three-pouch PRO Fastener bags, three-pouch Pro Tool Bags, a hammer holder, and a tape holder. That gives you dedicated space for nails or screws, measuring tools, pencils, utility knives, and the hand tools you keep reaching for. The no-spill tool holder system helps keep tools where they belong when you bend, climb, or move around the site.

Occidental also calls out that this version is specifically for the right-handed person. That is worth paying attention to before you buy. A well-designed dominant-hand layout does not just feel more natural. It helps keep your workflow smoother when you are pulling fasteners, reaching for a square, or switching from layout to fastening work.

At roughly 6.56 lbs, this is not a stripped-down minimalist rig, and that is the point. The Occidental Leather Pro Framer Comfort Tool Belt Setup is for pros who want a full-capacity setup that can stay loaded and organized through the day. If you are a production framer, trim carpenter doing heavier pouch carry, remodeler, or serious DIY user who appreciates a real leather tool belt, this setup makes sense. If you only carry a tape, pencil, and a couple of screws, it is more belt than you need.

One more thing worth noting: this setup is made in the USA. For a leather tool belt, that usually matters to buyers looking for long-term durability, consistent build quality, and a rig they expect to keep in service for years instead of replacing every season.
