Key Features

Built for Glass This compound is made specifically for glass polishing, so you are not forcing a general-purpose polish to do a specialized job. That matters when you need to remove scratches without leaving behind a messy finish. 3 Micron Formula The 3 formulation is aimed at fine polishing work. It is designed to permanently polish out scratches on most glass surfaces while keeping the finish controlled and refined. Silicone-Free A silicone-free glass polishing compound is easier to work into finishing processes where residue can be a problem. That makes it a practical choice for detail work and surface prep.

Overview

Mirka Polarshine E3 Glass Polishing Compound PE3-1L is a glass polishing compound made for scratch removal and surface refinement on glass. This is a polishing compound designed for polishing scratched glass surfaces. Model Number: PE3-1L. If your job calls for a product that is purpose-built for glass instead of paint, metal, or general finishing, this is the right kind of material to start with.

The big story here is specialization. Mirka lists Polarshine E3 as a silicone-free compound that permanently polishes out scratches on most glass surfaces. That is important because glass correction is less forgiving than general polishing. You need a compound that cuts in a controlled way, stays consistent through the polishing cycle, and is matched to the surface you are actually working on.

The formula is rated at 3 microns, which puts this compound in fine polishing territory. In practical terms, that makes it a better fit for refinement and scratch removal work where surface clarity matters. The grit material is cerium oxide, which makes sense for glass polishing applications where clarity and finish quality are the whole point.

Mirka packages this version in a 1.1 qt (1 liter) bottle, giving you a usable amount for repeated polishing work without stepping up to a larger shop container. For detailers, restoration shops, and users handling recurring glass correction jobs, that size is a good middle ground. It is enough product for real work while still being manageable on the bench or in the cart.

From a jobsite and shop-use standpoint, the silicone-free formula matters as much as the polishing action. Silicone contamination can cause problems in downstream finishing environments, so using a compound without it helps keep the process cleaner. If you are working in a setting where residue control matters, that is not a throwaway spec.

This Mirka compound is best suited for users who already know they need a dedicated glass polishing compound, not a one-bottle product for every surface in the shop. It makes the most sense for automotive glass correction, glass restoration, and other surface-polishing work where scratched glass needs to be improved with a purpose-made compound. If you are serious about glass polishing, using a glass-specific compound like this is the smarter move.

Made for Scratch Correction on Glass

When the surface is glass, a dedicated compound matters. Mirka Polarshine E3 is built around that exact task, so you are using a product intended for glass polishing instead of adapting a general rubbing compound.

• Designed for polishing and scratch correction on most glass surfaces
• Silicone-free formula helps keep finishing work cleaner

Fine Formula for Clearer Results

The 3 micron rating points to fine polishing work where finish quality matters. That makes this a solid fit for users trying to improve clarity and remove scratches without jumping to a coarse, overly aggressive compound.
