Overview

Mirka 23-342-150 Gold 6" Sticky Back PSA Sanding Discs 150 Grit, 100/Roll is a 6 inch pressure-sensitive adhesive sanding disc roll for general surface preparation and finish sanding. This is a sanding disc designed for material removal and surface smoothing across a wide range of materials. Model Number: 23-342-150. If you need a mid-grit abrasive that balances cut speed and surface control, this Mirka disc setup gives you a practical format for repeat sanding work.

The 150 grit rating puts this disc in a useful middle range. It is aggressive enough to refine surfaces, knock down minor imperfections, and continue a sanding sequence without leaving the deep scratch pattern you would expect from a much coarser disc. For shop work, refinishing, or prep between sanding stages, that matters because it helps you move forward without overcutting the surface.

Mirka uses ceramic abrasive on this product, which is one of the bigger reasons to choose it over cheaper paper discs. Ceramic grain is known for maintaining a strong cut under steady use, so the disc keeps working instead of going dull right away. On the job that means more predictable sanding, less time stopping to swap discs, and a better chance of getting uniform results across multiple pieces.

The sticky back PSA format is built for users who prefer pressure-sensitive adhesive attachment over hook and loop. That gives you a flat, direct bond to the backup pad, which can be useful when you want a clean sanding face with secure attachment during use. The 6 inch size is common for sanding operations where you need a good mix of coverage and control.

This Mirka sanding disc roll also makes sense for higher-volume work because it comes in a 100-count roll. If you go through abrasives regularly, buying in quantity keeps you stocked for production sanding, body shop prep, fabrication cleanup, or general shop finishing. It is a straightforward consumable, but that is exactly the point: when the abrasive is consistent, the work goes faster and the finish is easier to manage.

Best fit for this product is the user who already runs a PSA disc setup and wants a reliable 6 inch ceramic abrasive in 150 grit. That includes woodworkers, finish sanders, metalworkers, auto body users, and serious DIYers doing repeated prep work. If you need a finishing abrasive for very fine final passes, go finer. If you need heavy stock removal, go coarser. But for the middle of the sanding process, this is the kind of disc you reach for a lot.

Keep Sanding Without Constant Disc Changes

Abrasives are one of those things that either keep the job moving or slow everything down. The ceramic grain and 100-disc roll format make this a practical choice for users who sand often and do not want to burn through low-grade discs.

• 150 grit works well for prep, refinement, and smoothing between coarse and fine sanding steps
• 100 discs per roll gives you quantity for shop use, repeated jobs, or production work
