More OutputThis battery pack is built to deliver up to 50% more power versus standard M18 REDLITHIUM XC battery packs, which matters when you are running higher-demand cordless tools that need steady output under load. Runs CoolerThe HIGH OUTPUT XC 6.0Ah design runs up to 50% cooler in heavy applications, helping the pack keep working harder on demanding cuts, drilling, fastening, and other high-draw jobs. M18 Battery 4-PackThe Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC 6.0Ah Battery, 4-Pack gives you four packs in one buy, which makes sense if you are running multiple M18 tools or want fewer charging interruptions during the day.

Overview

The Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC 6.0Ah Battery, 4-Pack is a cordless tool battery kit for users already invested in Milwaukee's M18 platform and looking for stronger output, cooler operation, and more runtime coverage across multiple tools. This is a battery pack kit designed for powering M18 cordless tools across heavy-duty jobsite applications. Model number: 48-11-1862-48-11-1862.

Where this battery setup makes a difference is on tools that pull hard under load. Milwaukee states the HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 pack delivers 50% more power and runs 50% cooler than standard M18 REDLITHIUM XC battery packs. In plain terms, that means better performance when you are pushing saws, grinders, hammer drills, impact wrenches, or other high-demand cordless tools instead of asking a smaller pack to do a bigger job than it wants to do.

The 6.0Ah capacity hits a practical middle ground. You get more muscle and usable runtime than a compact pack, but without jumping to the larger footprint and added weight of Milwaukee's biggest battery options. For a lot of pros, that balance is the sweet spot: enough battery for real work, not so much bulk that every tool turns into a brick.

Milwaukee also builds this pack around REDLINK Intelligence, which uses communication between the tool, battery, and charger to help optimize performance and provide overload protection. That matters on the job because battery protection is not just a spec sheet talking point. It helps reduce the abuse that can shorten pack life when tools are run hard, especially in repeated heavy-use cycles.

Jobsite practicality is strong here too. The onboard fuel gauge lets you check remaining charge without clicking the pack onto a tool or guessing whether you have enough left for the next task. Milwaukee also calls out best-in-class construction for durability and protection against jobsite conditions, plus improved performance in extreme cold weather below 0 degrees Fahrenheit or minus 18 degrees Celsius. If you work outside in winter, that is not a small detail.

Compatibility is straightforward and important: this battery is part of the Milwaukee M18 system and is fully compatible with more than 150 M18 cordless solutions. If you already own M18 tools, this is an easy platform expansion. If you are building out an M18 setup, a four-pack like this gives you the kind of battery bench strength that keeps crews moving instead of waiting around on chargers.

This setup makes the most sense for contractors, service pros, remodelers, and serious DIY users who run multiple M18 tools regularly. It is especially useful for anyone using higher-draw cordless equipment and wanting a better balance of power, runtime, and pack size than a standard XC battery. If your current batteries feel like the weak link in the system, this is the kind of upgrade you notice pretty quickly.

Keep every pack charged and ready by pairing this set with the Milwaukee 48-59-1807 M18 & M12 Rapid Charge Station, which can top off multiple batteries at once instead of leaving spares idle.

Built to Keep Heavy-Draw Tools Moving

If you are running more than one cordless tool in a day, a four-pack of M18 HIGH OUTPUT batteries saves time fast. Instead of rotating a couple tired packs through the charger, you have enough battery on hand to stay productive.

• Includes four M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 battery packs
• Designed to power more than 150 Milwaukee M18 cordless solutions

Balanced Size with Real Jobsite Output

The XC 6.0 format is popular for a reason. It gives you a strong mix of output and runtime without stepping all the way into the largest battery sizes. That makes it a smart everyday battery for tools that need more than a compact pack can give.

• Up to 50% more power versus M18 REDLITHIUM XC battery packs
• Up to 50% cooler running in heavy applications
