Protects What Matters This boot puts a durable rubber layer between the tool body, nearby components, and finished surfaces. That matters when you are working around suspension parts, brackets, and other tight-contact areas. Quick On, Quick Off The flexible rubber design installs and removes without tools, so you can add protection fast without slowing down service work or maintenance tasks. Built for the STRIKER This Milwaukee accessory is made specifically for the M18 FUEL STRIKER Hammer Chisel model 3771-20, so fit and protection are the whole point here, not a one-size-fits-all compromise.

Overview

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL STRIKER Hammer Chisel Protective Boot is a model-specific rubber accessory for Milwaukee's STRIKER hammer chisel system. This is a protective boot designed for shielding the tool and nearby work surfaces during hammer chisel work. Model number 49-16-3772, it is built for techs and maintenance crews who use the M18 FUEL STRIKER Hammer Chisel 3771-20 in high-contact automotive, fleet, transportation, and industrial environments.

The main reason to buy this accessory is simple: it helps prevent the tool housing from beating up surrounding parts while also helping protect the surface you are working around. If you are tearing down suspension components, working around brake hardware, or chiseling in crowded assemblies, incidental contact happens. A form-fitting boot gives you a sacrificial protective layer without turning the tool into a bulky mess.

Milwaukee kept the design lightweight and low profile, which matters on a tool that needs to stay controllable. The boot weighs just 0.32 lb, with compact overall dimensions of 6 in long by 3.5 in wide and 3.5 in high. In practical terms, that means you get added protection without changing the basic handling enough to defeat the purpose of using the STRIKER in tight spaces.

The rubber construction is not just there for impact protection. Milwaukee calls out resistance to oils, solvents, and corrosive materials commonly found in automotive and industrial settings. That is important for real shop use, where contact with grease, fluid residue, and chemical exposure is part of the day. A protective cover that cannot handle those conditions would not last long, and this one is clearly meant for that kind of work.

Installation is also kept straightforward. The flexible rubber design allows tool-free install and removal, so it is easy to pull off for cleaning or service and easy to reinstall before jobs where the tool may contact painted, machined, or otherwise damage-prone surfaces. That makes it a practical accessory instead of something that lives in a drawer.

Compatibility is very specific here, and that is worth paying attention to. This protective boot is designed exclusively for the M18 FUEL STRIKER Hammer Chisel 3771-20. Milwaukee also states that using it on any other product may result in motor damage and may void the tool warranty. So if you own the right hammer chisel, this is a smart protection add-on. If you do not, this is not a universal rubber cover you should try to force onto something else.

Who should buy it? Service technicians, fleet maintenance crews, transportation shops, and industrial users who are running the STRIKER in close quarters are the clear target. If your work regularly puts the hammer chisel near hubs, control arms, brackets, housings, or finished assemblies, this accessory makes a lot of sense. If you want to keep your tool body and customer-facing surfaces in better shape during repeated daily use, this is the kind of small upgrade that earns its keep.

Protection Without Extra Bulk

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL STRIKER Hammer Chisel Protective Boot adds a protective layer where the tool is most likely to contact nearby parts, without turning the STRIKER into a heavy, awkward setup.

• Form-fitting rubber design helps protect the tool housing and adjacent work surfaces
