Overview

The Milwaukee 48-22-8903 Cut Level 1 Nitrile Dipped Gloves are extra large work gloves built for material handling, general purpose work, and remodeling tasks where you need grip, dexterity, and light cut protection in the same glove. This is a cut-resistant work glove designed for general material handling and everyday jobsite use. Model Number: 48-22-8903.

Milwaukee rates these gloves to ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 Cut Level 1 and EN388 3121A, which tells you what they are and what they are not. They are a good fit for lighter handling jobs where you want more protection than a basic knit glove, but still need to pick up small fasteners, sort parts, or work with hand tools without losing feel in your fingers.

The nitrile-dipped palm is the feature that does the heavy lifting here. Milwaukee uses a sandy nitrile coating to improve grip and durability, so the glove keeps a better hold on material than a plain knit glove. If you're carrying pipe, handling stock, moving trim, unpacking jobsite deliveries, or working through punch-list tasks, that extra grip helps you stay in control.

Dexterity is another big reason to choose this glove. Milwaukee calls out improved mobility when handling small objects, and that matters in real use. A glove can have decent protection on paper, but if you cannot grab anchors, wire nuts, screws, or fittings easily, it ends up sitting in the truck. This one is built to stay useful during detail work.

The liner uses a nylon and Lycra blend with a breathable design that helps wick away moisture during extended wear. In plain terms, it is made to stay more comfortable through a full shift than a heavier glove. That makes a difference for warehouse work, maintenance rounds, remodel cleanup, and general construction tasks where the gloves stay on most of the day.

Milwaukee also adds SMARTSWIPE touchscreen-compatible fingertips and palms, which is one of those features that sounds small until you use it on the job. If you rely on your phone or tablet for plans, measurements, checklists, or photos, being able to keep the gloves on saves time and keeps your workflow moving.

For quick identification, the glove includes a color-coded wrist band and back-of-hand logo marking the cut level. That is useful if you keep different glove types in rotation on the truck, in the shop, or across a crew and want to grab the right protection level without second guessing it.

These Milwaukee gloves are best for contractors, maintenance techs, warehouse workers, remodelers, and serious DIY users who want an everyday work glove with better grip and light cut resistance. If your work is mostly general handling, jobsite setup, material movement, and small-parts tasks, this is the right type of glove. If you need heavy cut protection for sharper material, you will want to step up to a higher cut level.
