3.5 TPI Teeth The new tooth design is built for longer life in metal cutting. That matters when you are drilling repeated holes and do not want to burn through hole saws halfway through the job. Faster Plug Removal ALL-ACCESS slots give you better leverage to clear slugs and improve pilot visibility. Less fighting the plug means less downtime between cuts. 13-Piece Hole Saw Kit The Milwaukee 49-22-4025 hole saw kit covers common sizes for electrical, plumbing, maintenance, and general construction work, with arbors and accessories stored in a customizable case.

Overview

The Milwaukee 49-22-4025 HOLE DOZER Bi-Metal Hole Saw Kit is a 13-piece hole saw set built for general-purpose cutting across wood, wood with nails, plaster, drywall, aluminum, and steel. This is a hole saw kit designed for drilling clean, repeatable holes in multiple jobsite materials. Model Number 49-22-4025. If you need one case that covers common trade sizes without piecing a set together one saw at a time, this is the kind of kit that makes sense.

What separates this Milwaukee hole saw kit from cheaper sets is how the cutting design supports real work instead of just checking a spec box. The 3.5 teeth per inch tooth pattern is aimed at longer life in metal applications, while the deeper gullets help move material out of the cut faster. Milwaukee also uses a thermoset coating to reduce friction and drag, which helps the hole saw cut faster and can improve efficiency when running on cordless drills.

Another practical advantage is the ALL-ACCESS slot design. On the job, plug removal is one of the biggest annoyances with any hole saw. These slots are there to make slug removal easier, improve pilot bit visibility, and help eject chips faster so the cut runs cooler. That means less time prying out material and more time actually drilling the next hole.

The kit itself is set up around the sizes people actually reach for. You get nine hole saw sizes from 3/4 inch up to 2-1/2 inch, along with a 3/8 inch hex shank arbor, a 3/8 inch Ergo Grip quick-change arbor, a 3-1/2 inch pilot bit, and a 1/8 inch hex key. Milwaukee also calls out the case as customizable, with interchangeable pegs, reinforced top and bottom grids, and a removable accessory box. That is useful if you want to reorganize the layout around the sizes you use most often instead of living with a fixed tray.

Material range is another reason this set stays useful in more than one trade. Applications include aluminum, plaster, steel, wood, and wood with nails, with multi-purpose material cutting overall. For a contractor, maintenance tech, electrician, plumber, or remodeler, that means one bi-metal hole saw set can cover trim-out, rough-in, service work, and punch-list drilling without swapping to a totally different system every time the material changes.

From a drill compatibility standpoint, this kit requires a minimum 3/8 inch chuck size and uses a 3-flat shank style on the arbor setup. In plain terms, that fits the drill platforms most pros and serious DIY users already own. You are not buying into a niche interface here. The included arbors and pilot bit make it a ready-to-work set for standard drill use.

Build-wise, Milwaukee positions the HOLE DOZER line around durability, backed by bi-metal construction and 8% cobalt for better wear resistance. The product is also made in the USA, which will matter to buyers who pay attention to where cutting accessories are produced. Just as important, this is not a stripped-down starter pack. It is a full kit with a storage solution designed for repeat transport and organization.

If you regularly cut holes for conduit, pipe, recessed hardware, vents, cable pass-throughs, or general install work, this set lands in a sweet spot. It is broad enough for service and remodeling work, durable enough for regular use, and organized well enough to live in the van, gang box, or shop without turning into a pile of loose saws and missing arbors.
