Impact Resistant Build The impact-resistant body is built for real jobsite use, so it holds up better than a flimsy insert when drawers are loaded, moved, and opened all day. Attachment Ready Tool box attachment-ready mounting locations give you more ways to customize the inside of your PACKOUT drawer box for the gear you actually carry.

Overview

The Milwaukee 48-22-8047 Divider for PACKOUT Drawer Tool Boxes is a drawer divider made for organizing Milwaukee PACKOUT drawer storage. This is a tool storage accessory designed for separating tools, batteries, and small parts inside compatible PACKOUT drawer tool boxes. Model Number: 48-22-8047. If you already run PACKOUT and want cleaner storage without wasting drawer space, this is the add-on that makes the drawer work harder.

What matters here is not just that it divides a drawer, but that it gives you a more controlled layout inside Milwaukee's drawer-based storage system. Instead of everything shifting around when the box moves from truck to site, you can break the drawer into sections that make sense for the gear you use most. That means faster access to fasteners, chargers, hand tools, batteries, or specialty items that usually get buried in a wide-open drawer.

Milwaukee built this divider with an impact-resistant body, which is the right call for jobsite storage. Drawer accessories take abuse every time a loaded box gets rolled around, stacked, or slammed shut. A weak divider becomes a nuisance fast. This one is meant to stay in service under normal contractor use, which is exactly what you want in a PACKOUT accessory.

Another practical advantage is the tool box attachment-ready design. The mounting locations give you more flexibility inside the drawer so you can tailor the setup to the way you work. For some users that means separating cordless tools from accessories. For others it means keeping batteries and consumables from mixing together. Either way, the benefit is less time digging and less wear on tools banging into each other.

Compatibility is straightforward and important. This divider is built to organize the inside of the PACKOUT 2-Drawer Tool Box 48-22-8442 and the PACKOUT Multi-Depth 3-Drawer Tool Box 48-22-8447. That makes it a useful upgrade for anyone expanding a PACKOUT storage setup and wanting the drawer units to be more than just open bins.

Physically, this is a compact single-piece storage accessory with a listed width of 12.6 inches, height of 4.9 inches, length of 1.2 inches, and weight of 0.31 lb. Those numbers matter because it adds organization without adding much bulk or weight to the system. The polypropylene construction also makes sense for a storage accessory since it balances durability with low weight.

This product makes the most sense for contractors, service techs, maintenance crews, and serious DIY users who already own compatible PACKOUT drawer boxes. If your setup lives in a van, trailer, garage, or shop and you want cleaner organization inside the drawer, this is a simple upgrade that solves a real everyday problem.
