It also charges all Milwaukee M12 batteries, so it earns its spot in the truck, shop, or gang box instead of being just another extra item to carry. Built for the JobsiteWith an IP54 rating, impact-resistant construction, and multiple hanging options, this radio is made for real work areas where dust, debris, and rough handling are part of the day.

Overview

The Milwaukee 2951-20 M12 Radio + Charger is a compact jobsite radio and battery charger built for tradespeople who want music, radio, and battery charging in one small footprint. This is a jobsite radio charger designed for audio playback, M12 battery charging, and portable use around the shop or jobsite. Model Number: 2951-20. If you already run Milwaukee M12 tools, this gives you a practical way to keep the day moving while keeping a battery topped off.

What makes this unit useful is that it does more than play music. You get Bluetooth 4.2, AM/FM radio, USB device charging, and the ability to charge all Milwaukee M12 batteries. That matters because it cuts down on clutter. Instead of carrying a separate speaker and charger, you get one tool that handles both. Milwaukee also lists up to 10 hours of runtime when paired with an M12 Compact 2.0 battery, which is enough for a full shift in many shop and service applications.

Milwaukee kept the design compact at 5.39 inches long, 5.67 inches wide, and 9.21 inches high, with a listed weight of 4.19 pounds. That size makes it easy to move from room to room, hang on a shelf edge, or set on a bench without giving up much space. The self-centering keyhole and hollow handle are not throwaway features. They give you more placement options when floor space is limited or when you want the speaker up and out of the mess.

For real-world durability, the housing is built with a small footprint, concealed features, and an impact-resistant exterior, and the unit carries an IP54 rating for water and debris resistance. On a jobsite, that is the difference between a radio that survives routine dust and splashing and one that feels like it belongs only in the garage. It is still a compact audio unit, not a demolition-site beater, but Milwaukee clearly built it for work conditions instead of kitchen-counter duty.

Usability is straightforward. You can pair a phone over Bluetooth, tune AM/FM stations, save presets, and adjust treble and bass by using the EQ customization built into the controls. The 2.1A USB output gives you a convenient way to charge a phone or small electronic device while you work. That is especially handy for service techs, punch-list crews, and anyone who uses a phone for plans, messages, or music during the day.

Compatibility is a big reason to buy this model. It is part of the Milwaukee M12 system and charges all M12 batteries. If you are already using M12 drills, impact drivers, inspection tools, or lighting, this radio fits right into the same platform instead of starting a new battery system just for audio. It is not an M18 charger, so buyers on the M12 platform will get the most value out of it.

This unit makes the most sense for electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, remodelers, general contractors, and serious DIY users who want a compact radio that can move easily and pull double duty as a charger. If you need huge sound for a wide-open site, you may want a larger radio. If you want a compact, durable Milwaukee jobsite speaker that works with M12 batteries and does more than one job, this is the smart pick.

Hang It Where You Need It

This compact jobsite speaker is built to go where bench-top radios do not. The hanging layout helps keep it off dirty surfaces and closer to ear level in crowded work areas.

• Self-centering keyhole supports easy hanging placement
• Hollow handle allows pass-through hanging options
• Compact footprint works well on shelves, carts, and benches

Simple Controls, Everyday Utility

The top controls are laid out for quick changes when your hands are busy and your attention is on the work. You can swap between Bluetooth and AM/FM, manage presets, and make EQ adjustments without digging through menus.

• Bluetooth 4.2 plus AM/FM radio modes
• Treble and bass adjustment through onboard EQ control
• 10 total radio presets for faster station access

Compact Size, Real Durability

The small body is a big advantage when you want music in the room without giving up space. Milwaukee backs that compact size with an impact-resistant build and IP54 protection against water and debris.

• IP54 rated for water and debris resistance
• Impact-resistant exterior for tougher work environments
• Listed weight of 4.19 lbs keeps it easy to carry
