Key Features

Four Heads, One Drill The installation drill/driver swaps between a 3/8" metal chuck, a 1/4" hex, an offset head, and a right angle head, so one compact tool covers drilling and fastening jobs that would normally take several. Built for Tight Spaces Heads lock on in 16 positions, the top of the tool is flat, and the grip sits inline at the back, so you can get square to a fastener inside a cabinet, between studs, or flush against a wall. Set-and-Forget Inflation The M12 Compact Inflator is rated to 120 PSI, and TrueFill auto shut-off stops at the pressure you set, so you can top off a tire without hovering over a gauge.

Overview

The Milwaukee 2505-22 M12 FUEL Brushless Installation 5-in-1 Drill / Driver with Compact Tire Inflator 2.0Ah Combo Kit pairs Milwaukee's M12 FUEL installation drill/driver kit with the M12 Compact Inflator. This is a compact cordless drill/driver designed for drilling and fastening in tight, finished spaces, bundled with a cordless tire inflator for vehicle and equipment tires. Model Number 2505-22-PROMO 2475-20 combines the complete 2505-22 kit (tool, four heads, two batteries, charger, and bag) with the bare 2475-20 inflator, which runs on the same batteries.

The drill/driver at the center of the kit is the Milwaukee 2505-20. Milwaukee builds it around four dedicated heads instead of one fixed chuck. The 3/8" all-metal chuck handles standard drill bits and hole saws. The 1/4" hex head takes driver bits and quick-change accessories. The offset head drives fasteners tight to an adjacent surface without marring finished material, and the right angle head works at 90 degrees where there is no room for a drill body. The 1/4" hex, 3/8" chuck, and offset heads also mount to the right angle head, which gets you around obstructions that would stop a standard right angle drill.

A POWERSTATE brushless motor delivers up to 300 in-lbs of max torque and a top speed of 1,600 RPM. That is plenty for cabinet hardware, electrical boxes and devices, HVAC registers and controls, and the pilot holes that go with them. REDLINK Plus intelligence protects the tool from overloading and overheating, which matters when you are drilling and driving all day on an install.

The drill is 5.12" wide and weighs 2.0 lbs with a battery attached. The inline grip keeps your hand behind the tool for better steering on small fasteners, and the flat top lets you set the tool flush against a surface for extra reach. A magnetic bit holder on the front keeps spare bits on the tool, and a belt clip comes attached. Everything stores in the included compartmentalized contractor bag, so the heads don't end up loose in the bottom of a toolbox.

The second tool in the box is the Milwaukee 2475-20 M12 Compact Inflator. This is a cordless tire inflator built for car, light truck, and compact equipment tires. Milwaukee rates the high-efficiency pump and motor for true 120 PSI capability and says it tops off a car tire from 28 to 35 PSI in under 1 minute and fills a light truck tire from 30 to 45 PSI in under 4 minutes.

TrueFill auto shut-off is the feature you will use every time. You set the target pressure on the back-lit digital gauge, start the fill, and the inflator senses how fast the tire is filling and shuts off at the target. It also protects against over-temp and over-fill. The display shows both target and current pressure, the 26" hose ends in an all-brass Schrader chuck, anti-vibration feet keep it from walking while it runs, and a reinforced cage stands up to life in a truck box. A Presta chuck, ball inflation needle, and inflator nozzle are included for bikes, sports balls, and other inflation jobs.

Both tools run on the Milwaukee M12 platform. The kit includes two M12 REDLITHIUM CP2.0 compact batteries (48-11-2420) and an M12 charger (48-59-2401), and both tools accept any M12 battery if you already own a few.

Who should buy it? Electricians, HVAC techs, cabinet installers, remodelers, maintenance crews, and automotive techs get the most from the installation drill, and the inflator earns a permanent spot in the work truck. For an M12 user who needs a dedicated tight-space drill, the inflator turns a good kit into one that also handles the low tire in the parking lot.

Pro Tip

When a fastener is buried behind a pipe or a cabinet face frame, put the offset head on the right angle head. That stack reaches spots a standard right angle drill can't, and it saves you a trip back to the truck for a specialty tool.

Tool Nut's Take

Tool Nut's Take

The Milwaukee 2505-22 M12 FUEL Installation Drill / Driver with Compact Tire Inflator Kit Pays for Itself Twice

You get the tight-space drill you need for installs and a tire inflator you will be glad to have the first cold morning a tire is low.

• Who it's for: Electricians, HVAC techs, cabinet installers, and service techs who already run M12 or want a compact platform that lives in the truck.
• Why it stands out: Four heads that mount in 16 positions, 300 in-lbs from a 2.0 lb tool, and an inflator that shuts itself off at the target PSI, all on one set of batteries.
• Worth knowing: This is an installation and finish-work drill, not a replacement for a full-size hammer drill. For big-bit or masonry drilling, keep an M18 drill on the truck too.

Common Questions

• Are batteries included? Yes. The kit includes two M12 REDLITHIUM CP2.0 batteries and an M12 charger, which power both the drill/driver and the inflator.
• What heads come with the drill/driver? A 3/8" metal chuck, a 1/4" hex, an offset head, and a right angle head, all stored in the compartmentalized contractor bag.
• How fast does the inflator work? Milwaukee rates it to top off a car tire from 28 to 35 PSI in under 1 minute and fill a light truck tire from 30 to 45 PSI in under 4 minutes.
• Does the inflator shut off on its own? Yes. TrueFill auto shut-off stops at the pressure you set on the digital gauge.
