Overview

The Makita 1917D4-4 4-1/2 ft. Vibratory Screed Bar is a screed blade for the Makita 40V max XGT Brushless Cordless Vibratory Screed Power Head (VL001GZ, sold separately). This is a vibratory screed bar designed for floating and screeding concrete slabs, sidewalks, and pads. Model number 1917D4-4.

Paired with the VL001GZ, the bar works at 11,000 vibrations per minute for faster leveling and improved compaction. Vibration brings paste to the surface and settles aggregate as you pull, for a flatter, denser finish.

The bar is built from lightweight aluminum that carries vibration uniformly from end to end. That matters on the edges of a pour, where weak vibration leaves low spots and an uneven surface.

A lever-style lock system allows quick, tool-less installation on the power head, so changing to a different bar length for a narrower form takes seconds. End caps prevent concrete intrusion into the bar profile.

Choose bar length by the width of the pour. Makita offers this bar in three lengths for the VL001GZ (3-foot, 4-1/2-foot, and 6-foot), letting one cordless power head cover everything from walkways to wider slab sections.

Concrete finishers, flatwork contractors, and general contractors who have moved to the Makita XGT platform will want the right bar lengths on hand to match the forms they set every day.
