Key Features

24 Inch Reach The moveable jaw can be positioned anywhere along the bar, so you can set clamp range fast and get repeatable hold on larger assemblies without fighting extra travel. 300 lb Force Heavy-duty clamping pressure gives this trigger clamp enough holding power for woodworking glue-ups, assembly work, and keeping parts from shifting while you fasten. One-Hand Control The ergonomic handle and easy-release trigger let you clamp and unclamp with one hand, which matters when the other hand is busy holding parts in place.

Overview

The Kreg VersaGrip Clamp - 24" is a trigger clamp built for fast, one-handed clamping on woodworking and assembly jobs. This is a trigger clamp designed for holding workpieces securely during glue-ups, pocket-hole joinery, and general shop assembly. Model Number KVGC24. With a 24-inch clamping capacity, 300 lb. clamping force, and a moveable jaw that can be set along the bar, it is built for users who want quicker setup than a traditional bar clamp.

What makes this clamp useful in the shop is how quickly it adapts to different part sizes. The moveable jaw limits jaw spread for repeatable clamping, so you are not wasting time running the clamp through a bunch of empty travel every time you switch from one workpiece to the next. On frame parts, edge glue-ups, and panel work, that faster setup adds up.

The clamp head can be placed anywhere along the bar, and the removable head can also be reversed so the tool works as either a clamp or a spreader. That gives the Kreg VersaGrip Clamp - 24" more range than a basic trigger clamp. If you need to press parts apart during fitting or alignment, you are not reaching for a second tool. You just reconfigure the same clamp and keep moving.

Kreg also built this clamp around real woodworking workflow. The integrated adapter makes it compatible with Kreg 300-Series, XL, and Micro pocket-hole jigs, so it fits into the brand's joinery system instead of acting like a standalone clamp you have to work around. If you already use Kreg pocket-hole jigs, that compatibility matters because it helps hold parts where you need them without improvising a setup.

In day-to-day use, the ergonomic design and easy-release trigger are a big deal. A lot of clamps hold fine but are awkward to release or easy to pinch yourself on when you are moving fast. This one is designed to avoid pinch points and sit comfortably in the hand. That is especially helpful when you are doing repeated clamping during cabinet assembly, face-frame work, or general bench work.

GripMaxx anti-slip faces and soft, non-marring pads help the clamp hold without chewing up finished or near-finished material. Combined with the 3-1/4 inch jaw depth, it gives you enough reach to grab past edges and hold stock where a shallower clamp would come up short. For woodworkers working with frames, panels, and jig-based joinery, that added throat depth makes positioning easier.

This clamp is best suited for woodworking, cabinet work, furniture assembly, pocket-hole fastening, and general shop use where speed matters. If you want a compact one-handed clamp that can also do spreader duty and plug into the Kreg jig system, this is a smart pickup. If you need long-reach clamping for larger assemblies but still want quick operation, the 24-inch version is the one to look at.

Clamp Fast With One Hand

This clamp is built to save steps. The trigger handle lets you apply pressure quickly with one hand, which helps when you are aligning parts, holding trim in place, or keeping a joint from shifting while you drive fasteners.

• Easy-release trigger is designed for quick unclamping
• Ergonomic handle is built to reduce pinch points during repeated use
• 300 lb. clamping force gives solid holding power for assembly and joinery

Adapt To More Than One Job

The bar and head design are what separate this from a basic quick-grip clamp. You can slide the jaw where you need it, then reverse the removable head when the job calls for spreading instead of clamping.

• 24 inch clamping capacity handles larger workpieces and assemblies
• Removable head converts the clamp into a spreader
• Jaw placement anywhere along the bar speeds up repeat setups
